Even though there was snow on the ground and it was chilly the sun was out full and still trying to warm the world. An off white bae wandered through the temple shrines. Vines seemed to have grown up his back two legs and throughout his mane, to one looking perhaps it were the humans in Ryuten that had weaved the vines through his golden mane.
Azure eyes gazed across the landscape there were human’s nearby although not near enough to see him. He gave a faint smile before turning from the humans and beginning to walk away from them. His long flowing tail and mid length mane flew behind him as he left.
The world and everything in it was to be treasured and he believed that. Perhaps it was time for him to seek out his brother… He had been hearing rumors that his brother had returned to the surface. At first he was afraid and disappeared from the world in fear of his brother would come to kill him, but now perhaps it was time to return. Even though it was his fault his brother was cold, dark, and emotionless. It was his fault. If they had never fought in the first place things wouldn’t have changed.
Calmcacil fluttered his green wings then folded them at his side. He sighed and looked skyward into the clear cloudless sky, it was going to be cold tonight.

Her father, if he'd actually been worthy of the title, had wandered off for some time now, perhaps a week at most two. It didn't bother the dull gray female though, if it had she would've succumb to the 'family' persona, dead hearted and distant. Shaking her head the mare trotted slowly though the barren area of a old shrine, the stones were cold under her hooves and for a moment she looked down, each stone was different, even if their colors were the same each had their own shapes...their own lives and their own place in the world, no one the same as the other. Her eyes drifted in between the nearby places, temples and trees, all bare without life, yet somewhere humans, odd beings inhabited this place somewhere. She was out to find them, or at least look, she'd always heard her father speak of them but this evening was one where she'd finally see them for herself, or at least she hoped so. Traveling a little farther, and denounced to her knowledge away from the humans Riona perked up her ears, someone was near by.
"Hello?"
She flicked her black sparkling tail, the only thing that would ever tie her to her father besides blood. It settled as she stood still and strong, a stallion, most certainly bae was passing a little ways away. She called out again, she couldn't make out him in his entirety but from what she could tell he was white with a blond mane and green wings, a beautiful combination for sure.
"Hello there sir!"
Her voice was slightly echoed by the stones that were placed every so often, hopefully he was kind or at least social. It had so far been a fruitless and boring day, would this evening be the same? She was about to find out.

Flicking his ears back he listened some one was calling. He turned his graceful head and smiled warmly at the one who was calling. It was a pale gray bae mare with a dark black tail from what he could see. He turned fully and began to walk toward her silver hooves just barely touching the ground as though he was flying. Calmcacil stopped a respectable distance away and smiled again.
"Hello." he said, "I'm the one known Calmcacil and whom might you be m’lady?" he said in a gentle chivalrous tone.
He hoped his brother wasn’t around right now; well he didn’t often come here at least. Calmcacil knew Velg’larn hated the humans that lived here. But there was still the chance he might appear. Calmcacil hoped he was lucky today. Now wouldn't be the time meeting some one else.
“What brings a lady such as yourself here?” he inquired trying to spark conversation.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Calmcacil. I'm Riona."
She paused, he was at a distance that she could now see him fairly well. She'd been right; Blond mane with what appeared to be vines running through it and down his back legs. A white dappled body, an elegant stallion. Even his voice was old and respectful, this stallion certainly was an interesting one, and rather friendly, at least he appeared so. She smiled warmly,
"A exploratory spirit I suppose. And you? What has such a kind stallion as yourself out here?"
It sounded so bland, the word she dubbed him by wasn't the best choice, but it did suit him. Flicking her lengthy tail a little Riona straightened her legs so she seemed to do often, she hadn't really seen her mother but she did hear that she was fairly short. You could call it habit that since her father had always told her how similar she was to her mother that she thought that meant height too, she wasn't in reality a short mare, but it was a little bug that she would always want to fix even if it wasn't there. Her light colored wings laid delicately to her sides as a small breeze curled past, moving her gray mane for a brief moment.

"A true pleasure Lady Riona," he smiled and gave a bow of his elegant head. She was a kind mare; most of those he had met were kind. No malicious intent what so ever. He had had enough of those types to last his entire life. His long tail swished back and forth as he listened to her response.
"Exploring? I'm a bit of an explore myself." he told her then decided to answer "I'm was staying away from my brother but I suppose It's time for a confrontation." his smile faded for a moment before returning softer "I suppose I can't hide or avoid him forever." He gave a slight sigh.
"Is there anything up here you want to see specifically?" he inquired changing the subject "I'm quite an expert about this place I've been around the humans for a while."

Hearing an older stallion call her lady practically had her laughing, she'd heard her father refer to her mother as a 'Lady'...at that point she wasn't sure it was a good thing, but for Calmcacil saying it, well heavens it couldn't be a bad context, at least not yet.
"I haven't ever seen humans, my father kept me away from most of the world for my entire life up until I hit adulthood a little while back. They're actually what I came here to see, I had this vision of seeing them from a distance..how they act when nobody's looking."
Smiling warmly Riona looked out, her eyes wandering a little before falling back in place. It was kind of him to offer, and perhaps his company would do her good, she hadn't had much of it in the past months.
"I guess you could say I lust for the outside world, for the adventures, new and old alike. You're planning to confront your brother? Certainly you've got more courage than I. If I have my say about things I'll never see hide nor hair of my family, such a demented bunch."
She snorted, the memories of what she did have of family were nothing too kind. Although she hadn't seen her mother or brothers since birth Riona had vowed not to, her father alone had given her all the reasons in the world never to see them all again. He'd be looking for her, at least somewhat, and when he found her, she shuttered at the thought.

"They act rather peculiar when no one is looking,” Calmcacil told the mare. And indeed they did prancing about sometimes, and others just doing the most bizarre things. “I could help you find a hiding place if you like.” He offered.
Calmcacil gave an understanding nod. What it must be like to never see the outside world for such a long time. His brother had become rather bitter but this mare turned out the opposite warm and friendly.
He gave another nod "Yes I am planning to, I have been avoiding him for years." A demented family sounded just as his own was. Strange and odd, that’s what his family was like.
