I got into Danzig after seeing dirty black summer on rage (australian music video show, unlike MTV it actually plays music videos wink )
i'd heard of them before them and didn't think much of them, as i was into much much heavier stuff (morbid angel, bolt thrower, obituary)
now i think they're awesome...
so when did you all get into danzig? and how?

I think I was 8 or 9 because when my brother was in High School he listened to alot of Misfits and Danzig and I remember one time he was singing Mother and I sang along. stare
I also liked Going Down To Die and when I listened to it recently I asked myself "Why does this sound so familiar??".

Oh man, sixth grade my friend was singing Mother, and I asked what it was. Took it from there to youtube and couldn't quit listening to Demon I Am, Sistinas, and all the other goodies. Mother was the first song I had ever heard though. It's still one of my favorites.

I got introduced to Danzig in an interesting way actually. I went to a sleepover at my mate's because it was her birthday and one of my friends had bought along Guitar Hero II. There was a song called Mother by Danzig on it and I remember it was the second song I ******** amazing. I got addicted to it right away so when I got home, I went through the net and found lots of songs by Danzig. I was disappointed the stores in NZ don't have their CD's so I got the songs off my friend instead. I still love playing that song, Mother on Guitar Hero II.

I first started listening to Glen Danzig when my friend's brother let me borrow his album which happened to be Danzig.

hate to admit this but it was gh2 and after that i just had to jear and learn to ply more that's right they inspired me to learn how to play guitar. and now i can play a few of their songs.

found out about Danzig 2 years ago.
I was at my friends house and my friends brother loved danzig and like wore his shirts all the time and such and he got me into them.
Danzig is probably one of my all time favorite bands and lead singer of all time.

My brother got me into Danzig about 3 or 4 years ago he would always listen to him along with the misfits and after that it just sorta grew on me
