The seagulls here are dying of heat-exhaustion and frying in the dry lake beds. It's too hot in summer in Australia...

I walked to work today, at about two am. It's about 16 degrees here, now that the sun is out.
It was only two miles though, so it was a nice walk.

Ffaux Pas I walked to work today, at about two am. It's about 16 degrees here, now that the sun is out.
It was only two miles though, so it was a nice walk. As I walked to the corner shop (to find it closed) I'm pretty sure I got ******** frostbite > sad Though, today was the first in a long while that I did see the sun razz

Usually I'd agree with you, Fallen, but if it melts the snow I'm willing to accept it.

I don't know if they do or not.
Their winters are usually more mild than ours(mine). I was over there in January and walked around Paris without a coat the entire time. Scotland, however, was much colder. England wasn't too bad.

The coldest it's gotten around here was about 40F. That's still too cold for me. Though it rarely snows in Texas, we did have that freak snowfall... in April I believe.

Hmm, Vegas. . . It was 35F last night.
But we break out the jackets at 60F.
I love the cold.
It's the heat that kills me.
