I'll change this once i see if anyone would be interested in it. To make it sound a little more like the intro to an rp thread.
It's based off of those mystery games, and partly on mystery murder parties.
I'm still trying to think how this could smoothly work, but I enjoyed the idea so much i wanted to see if anyone else would want to run with it XD maybe someone who could better figure this out.
Each person starts out being murdered, or talking about how they were murdered, so it would be in past tense the entire way, and i seem to favor third person, i don't know about everyone else, but if you really want to mix it up i guess that's ok, it'd just be a little messy is all... or we could vote on that...
That's where it gets me a little, we start at the ending, which will also be new to me, usually rp's tend to simply die, not END. So this one WILL end... eventually...
It can go on for as long as you want, OH! the other tough part is, another RPer's character is the one who murdered your character... So we'd all have to intertwine...
I mean, my character starts out dead and thinking back to "when it all started" those famous opening words... And you find out someone else's character is the one who killed mine, and then someone else killed that character and it goes on and on...
It's going to be tough, or maybe that's simply how i see it, but i think it'd be fun. Would anyone else be up for this? Or does anyone else have any ideas on how this could work XD
ps: I couldn't remember reading anything about having threads approved before posting sweatdrop and that's how it's done in another guild of mine so if this IS a problem i will gladly take this down.... or have it taken down XD sorry to bother you guys.

I think maybe you could tweak this idea into a writing game for the writer's thread; each person could just keep writing one-shots about how the main character of the previous post killed them. As a role-play, it could be veeery unworkable.

That would work... hmm, but it would be so fun if somehow in a perfect world it would work as an rp XD i mean it would sort off all back on itself, we'd start at the ending, then jump allllll the way back to the beginning, and that would be the fun part of it, it would keep it lengthy i think... but you're right there are so many problems we'd run into... Or maybe everyone would post and a sort of rp mod would look at them all and decide on who kills who and secretly pm those people...
~sigh~ i don't know, i'll have to work it out some more, if anyone else comes up with a better idea go with it XD I want this to work.

well, you could pm someone in the roleplay to be the murder, then just have everyone else guess who it is by roleplaying a character and dropping hints.
The murderer could also drop hints too.
