I have observed that most people with Aspergers are first-born children. I have Asperger's and I am a first born child. Are you first-born?

I'm a first born, but I'm not diagnosed. My youngest brother (third born) also shows traits of AS.

I was right about the majority being first-born. The majority is also boys. I, of course, am a boy. My dad is very introverted, but I don't think I inherited my social delays from him.

I'm the first born, if you can call it that. I am adopted, so I'm not really biologically related to any of my family members.
I don't really know if I was the first child of my biological parents, so it's a difficult question to answer.

Well, on a note... Statistically, there are more first borns because well, every family has to have a first born before they can have other borns.

Quote: Statistically, there are more first borns because well, every family has to have a first born before they can have other borns. That's true, but generally "first born" is distinguished from "only born" by calling those without siblings an "only child." You do have a point, though, that it's more likely to have a first or second born than a third born with AS, because of this.
