Just wondering if anybody here is going to get this game. I already preordered my copy, and I look forward to hearing the OST of this game. Motoi Sakuraba is doing some music for the game =D Just trying to get some threads going.

Ike and Metaknight seem to be the two that I really want to try.
I am waiting for this game's release so much that i've actually been playing melee more for the past while in hopes of actually getting a bit of my skill back seeing how Brawl will be able to be played with the old Gamecube controller. smile

I would enter tournaments, but where I live there are none D: Competitive as in, do you know all the advanced movements tricks and such. Like wavedashing, edge guarding, short hop, l-cancel etc.

Like wavedashing, edge guarding, short hop, l-cancel etc. I've joined quite a few tournaments (via the Smash Boards) but I honestly don't like to "dishonor" myself with the use of wavedashing since it's nothing more than a glitch and wasn't originally intended for use in the game (everythng thing else you've listed I have used) but all the same, it's really not my place to complain about people who wavedash either (so I generally don't). It just took a little adapting to be able to fight them off with a handful of various strategies that took a few buttkicking for me to figure out.
As far as Melee goes, I generally ran with either Marth, Samus or Kirby and am kinda hoping that no characters from Melee get left out of Brawl (with the exception partially for Dr. Mario.. he really should be more of a costume for Mario instead of a standalone character, but oh well). 3nodding

Well it is good that you don't like dishonoring yourself. I myself wavedash, but hey not everybody needs to. I am a Samus, Marth and Sheik player.

It's wierd how Melee has more characters than the orginal SSB and that Brawl also has less characters than Melee. They need a few more veterans.

Lol, well good luck when you try to get it =) you may or may not have to wait awhile after the release. I am expecting this game to be sold out in many stores for a while, just as the Wii was quite hard to get just by going to your local gaming store. I personally reserved a copy of Brawl for myself.

I don't quite follow >< I live Canada, so North America. @Michael RD Yeah I do wish they brought some more veterans back. It would make the game much more entertaining. I hope they kept in Y Link. He was a fun character to use.
