Mythos Herald Vice Captain

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the guild of Mythos is now in possession of sufficient funds (in the keeping of the Herald) to invade a new Pantheon and lay claim on their territory.
That is to say, we can get a new subforum.
One option, as Mcfeegle is quick to remind us, is Asgard, home of the Norse gods. However, as murderface recently brought up in the Welcome thread, a refuge for bestial myth from all cultures would not be uncalled for. Or, as Mitsukeru Furidomu brought up, we could tap the vast power of dragons across the world.
The possibilities are limitless. And your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

GAAAHH! This choice hurts my small, squishy brain! All three would be awesome... but I think I have to go with dragons. I think they would be a good choice simply because they're so universal. Dragons appear in countless myths and legends around the world - European dragons, the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl, the African Bida legend, Chinese dragon kings, the Norse Nidhogg... the list goes on.

ASGARD!!! Beasts and Dragons are cool, but they don't hold a candle to the awesomeness that is Asgard. A vote for Asgard is a correct vote.

Dragonsdragonsdragons. Because then you have the awesomeness of almost every culture packed into one subforum. If what I've read is right, dragons are a standard piece of mythology in almost every culture around the world.

Cant dragons be part of beasts... The can live in Arcadia, that would be an awsum name for a beastland... biggrin

That could work. Ideally, they'd have separate forums, since most forms of dragons are more intelligent than your average mythical creature. And we are a small enough guild.
Pan wouldn't be in charge of the whole thing, though. He just wouldn't fit with it all. Would that change your suggestion?

I cast my vote for DRAGONS.
Actually, when you think about it...
because dragons are found just about everywhere
they could be our "Mythos Default" setting.
Until you choose a pantheon, you're automatically a dragon.
And you could have the option of staying one, too.

I don't know if dragons should be the default setting... some people aren't as fond of dragons as we are, and we wouldn't want to force them in to that category. And it's nice just being able to float around in Limbo without any alignment whatsoever.
A dragon-beastland combo could work - like the Land of Night includes a vampire clan and a werewolf clan, the new subforum could have a dragon clan and another clan or two for other categories of beasts.
