I don't know if anyone here has heard of it, but this is perhaps my favorite topic of all time. If anyone has heard of it, I'd be glad to hear of your opinions. For those who haven't, 8-Bit Theater is, as it's name implies, a sprite comic made mostly of 8-bit sprites from the original Final Fantasy games. It's plot is based loosely on that of Final Fantasy I, and it is a parody of RPGs in general, Final Fantasy in particular. For those curious to see what it is like, just go to nuklearpower.com.
P.S. Black Mage is my role model, and I don't even know why.

I used to read them. Years ago. Haven't had time for webcomics recently.

Actually, on that subject, I'd like to be informed a bit on what exactly Deadale Wives is. I read about it in the page entitled "Twinkin' Out with Red Mage", where he said it was some sort of downloadable audio file that had something to do with D&D. What is it, to be exact?

The Dead Alewives were a comedy group. They did improv at different places, and on their website they released a few comedy sketches that were strictly audio, like a mini radio show. They had the D&D one, one called Captain Jerk, a super hero that would awkwardly explain masturbation to teenage boys, a song called Total Recallin', which was a parody of the song Free Falling and the movie Total Recall, and some other stuff. The group pretty much died back in the 90's, unfortunately.
Also, I love 8-Bit Theater. It started out kinda poorly, but the author quickly improved, and it's been pretty consistently funny ever since.

Heheh... I just looked them up. Pretty funny stuff.
And I agree, 8-Bit Theater did start out pretty poorly. But after a while, I just couldn't stop laughing as I went from page to page. I reread it now when I get bored. But I do remember something by the creator of VGCats, it was a parody of the Mario story. Black Mage and Fighter starred in it, and I gotta admit, he used them pretty well.

I haven't read 8bt in such a long time... I stopped for a while, and then forgot where I was, and I hate rereading things because I always remember it as soon as I look at it. I actually thought that the first hundred or so were better than the ones I read after that...

Heheh... since we're on the subject of funny sites, I just saw some pretty funny (to me at least) stuff on halolz.com. I apparently haven't even heard of funny halo pic websites until just recently. I'm so behind the times... exactly how I was with "All your base are belong to us."

Hmm, I don't know about Halo, but I do know a funny Half Life 2 comic made by taking pictures with Gary's Mod. http://www.hlcomic.com/
