Background:
Reiko served in the Mandalorian wars and again as a Sith soldier in the previous battles against the Republic. He made officer and quit due to contradicting beliefs with the way of the Sith. Upon realizing that he would be hunted by the Sith untill the end of time for his insabordinance in surving the Sith he decided that he should go to the Jedi academy to learn their ways. He wasn't born evil, he only became so during and after the Mandalorian wars. In the back of his mind, he seeks revenge for the abuse commited on him by the Sith. He feels no personal need to seek justice but does so to please those that matter to him. Revenge is now a large part of his life. He seeks to reclaim the good name he once carried. Reiko remains prone to flashbacks of war and tries constantly to forget about the past. He's easily startled and keeps his hands at the ready. He arrived on Dantooine months before his training began. He grew acustom to their laws and "rules". Foltz was the first of the students he encountered. Foltz appeared eager to learn how to protect those in need, but didn't seem to care about the power involved. Although Reiko didn't agree with his motives, he befriended him quickly. The next student he came in contact with was Telina. He had been awaiting the arrival of the origin of the pull in the force that had been growing near. Reiko didn't know why he felt compelled to take her under his wing, but he didn't question the matter either.

While only a select few know of the Kaminoans, they are recognized by those in the know as as the preeminent cloners in the galaxy. The gentle and seemingly naive Kaminoans possess a scientific cunning that allows them to excel in the genetic manipulation of numerous species. They have, in the past, completed orders of questionable ethics, creating armed forces. They take pride in their work, never appearing to think of the consequences of their craftsmanship.
The largest and best-known example of their clone armies is the one they crafted specifically for the Republic. Fulfilling an order apparently commissioned by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, the Kaminoans used a bounty hunter named Jango Fett as the template for their human army. The end result was a military force of alarming skill, speed and efficiency.
Kaminoans are tall, slender beings with glassy eyes, elongated necks, and pale skin. The males of their species often have prominent head-fins, a throwback to their evolutionary roots found in the oceans of Kamino. The Kaminoans inhabit the stilt cities of their planet, with the largest concentration residing in Tipoca City.
