Well, I've personally never drank eggnog. I don't intend to, either. o_O
Anyway, this thread is dedicated to your inventory updates of goodies that you receive on Christmas day, family traditions, stories, etc. But since there's a lot of others here that probably don't celebrate Christmas at all or celebrate another holiday, you're more than welcome to post about what's special about the season for you.

I love Eggnog. But I'm still underage so I drink the non-alcholholic kind. : D
I love the holidays because I get to spend the time with my family and the best part- there's no school.

I'm not a fan of Egg Nog, but I drink it for festivities' sake. That reminds me of a fanfiction I wrote out of boredom last year... xD
The vanilla flavored kind is good, though, it tastes more like melted ice cream than Egg Nog...
Anyway, I'm Christian, so yes, I celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!
As for parties, I went to one on the 20th at a friend's house. Great fun.. and I got some early presents. Including FMA Volume 15!
I didn't ask for much from "Santa" this year, I just want my mom to get better. 3nodding
However, I did ask for a CD for a band called Lost Prophets, and a book called Pretties- a sequel to another book I've just read.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that I'm getting Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. I'm going to hope for the latest Harry Potter movie, too, but I didn't ask for that^^

I celebrate Christmas, despite being an Atheist. To me, it's about family and friends and giving and SNOW and just that warm tingly feeling you get when you see your friend's reaction to the perfect gift. I really do love shopping and giving presents to other people. Though I won't lie, I like getting stuff too. XD
I do get mocked at sometimes for celebrating. "You're a devil worshiper! What right do you have to celebrate Jesus's birthday?!?!" (Exaggeration, I know, bear with me!) I always figure, if it bothers you so much what I practice in my life, I can just give it a different name and keep tacking my own values to it. I mean, that's how "Christmas" really started, right? *coughstolenfromthepaganscough*
(I really don't mean to get anyone upset. This is just how I feel about it. sweatdrop )
I've gotten some pretty awesome stuff from my friends. I got two statues of composers, two Gravitation novels, one volume of GodChild (WHICH I LOVE SO MUCH), Johnny Depp socks, penguin socks, Gift card to bookstore, and the novel Good Omens.
I've gotten for my friends: a biography of The Beatles, a book about the 50 Greatest Composers, the novel The Phantom of the Opera, some manga called "La Corda d'Oro", and a little teddy bear with yummy smelling hand lotion. :3
I've gotten my family: a pair of ATV racing goggles for my dad, minutes for my brother's phone, and a measuring cup set and a Red Sox jersey for my mom. (PEDROIA FTW.)
WOW THAT WAS REALLY LONG LOL.

It doesn't matter to me at all what people's religions/beliefs are or what they do for holidays--whatever floats your boat is a-okay with me!
I live in Texas. Snow is a myth told only by people who moved here.
Wow, that sounds fun! My family went to a HUGE outlet mall with really high-end stores, like Jimmy Choo, Prada, etc. It wasn't crappy at all--I was shocked. We bought most of our Christmas there, so there really aren't any surprises aside from what the rest of our family got for us. I've gotten some really nice, stylish clothes, volumes 5&6 of Othello, volume 15 of FMA, and the 5th FMA novel. The two things that I've yet to get that I'm looking foward to are Sony Vegas for my AMVs and Manga Studio for doujinshi-making with my friends.
Johnny Depp socks? Man, I've got to see those!
I have two friends that've read La Corda d'Oro. They like it a lot, but it's still a shoujo with all the shoujo stoic characters. Then again, Othello is a shoujo, but I like it a lot. Maybe it's because the main character's so screwed up because of a multiple personality disorder? @3@

I'm going through the game the first time, on HARD. IT'S SO DIFFICULT. gonk I'm battling for my soul right now, because I accidentally signed away my soul to my evil record company. I'm failing SO BAD IT'S SO HARD OMFG.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!! I too celebrate Christmas as a holiday about giving as I'm pretty much agnostic. And I love giving gifts! I purchased abour 30 of them this year. And holy ******** I'm broke now! But I'm broke with stuff. Yes... lots of stuff. xd My dad's family got Guitar Hero III too. I haven't played it yet. xd Both my family got Wiis and I was all like "Aha... great. more video games for my siblings. Whateva." But it turned out to be great because the Wii managed to distract all five of my sibs and I was free of bother for hours! I did make a Mii and play a game of bowling and a game of tennis on it myself. That was pretty much it. Anywho... I'm at my mom's now and I HAVE AN 80GB IPOD OMG WTF BBQ!!!! Haha... Best present EVA!!! I also got: -Tickets to Ohayocon!!! (You going, Ling?) -Jewlry - including homemade (see pic) and top quality/low quality storebought. And an L pin! -Dramacon 3 -$50 gift certificate to Borders (my sis got one too - we will collaborate to buy 10 new manga) -$20 gift certificate to Target (Guess what I spent it on? xd ) -Uber awesome hat (see below) -Good Quality OSU Sweatshirt w/zipper -$25 iTunes Gift Card (I've already spent all but 1 buck of it. xd ) -iPod speaker -iPod cover -Enchanted CD Haha... Computer froze, lagged, and was infected these past three weeks.
Anyways this Christmas was pretty SA-WEET. On top of the best gift I got a brand new laptop. Complete with web cam and everything.
Plus a ton of stuff.
-iPod nano video (my little teeny weeny baby)
-7 DVDs (one was POTC the rest were anime)
-SOCKS!!!!! (the fuzzy wuzzy kinds too)

So yeah, I celebrate Christmas. n___n
And this year I got the Assassins script and the Off-Broadway cast recording. So much win thar. I also got National Treasure, a Playstation 2 and two versions of DDR (<3), annnnddd....oh, and a screwdriver. And a t-shirt but it's on backorder or something.
