 Pale blue eyes were gazing forward, hoping to catch a glimpse or two of a butterfly. He wanted to chase them again, Pembe'juhi was having plenty of fun with that game. His tail flicked slightly as he laid back down in the grass. The little pink juvenile wasn't too far away from the family den. He didn't travel too far, he'd get into too much trouble from not only his mother but his uncle and grandma. Plus, he didn't like making them disappointed in him in the first place.
Not spotting any butterflies around, he let out a soft sigh before rolling onto his back and looking up at the sky. As the clouds floated by, he wondered where his siblings were. He should go and find one so that they could play together!

Peremende had thrown cation to the wind long ago when it came to her safety within the Prideland borders. Often she has walked far from her family meeting others and sometimes not. She didn't know her siblings that well since she hadn't gotten a chance to really spend time with them.
Coincidentally though, she was about to encounter one not to far from home. A few yards away from Pembe, a little butterfly was being followed by a yellow youngster. Mende didn't realize it was leading her back to her family. She leaped up to catch it between her paws, missed, and landed on her brother's exposed stomach.

((Sorry about the long delay! Getting sick was not my idea for x-mas time! ;_; ))
While watching the clouds roll by quietly, Pembe's ear flicked slightly as he thought he heard something. Straining to hear anything, he didn't detect any more sounds and just brushed it off as being paranoid. It wasn't too long after that when something landed on his stomach. "Oof!"
He was definitely caught by surprise as his pale blue eyes widen at the sight. It was one of his sisters! With a smile, he pawed at Peremende playfully, "Mende!" It's been a little while since he last saw his sister.

Mende realized just exactly who she landed on, grinned, and pawed back at him. "Brother Pembe! What are you doing here?" She had no idea where she was and that it was more of a surprise to see her there than him. She giggled and batted at him playfully. "Shouldn't you be with mummy dearest?"

As his sister batted at him back, Pembe couldn't help but chuckle. It was nice to see her again, it had surely been a while since he last saw her. She was always out and about. At her first question he blinked in surprise. Didn't she know where she was? "What do you mean? Our den is just over there." He pointed to the side, where his family's den was. At her other question, he stuck out his tongue to pout, "Of course not! I don't have to be with her all the time! Plus, Uncle Siltim lets me go out on my own when he's watching me. Just as long as I come back before Mom finds out about it."

She looked at him quizically. "It is? Huh.. I didn't realize." Seeing family was rather odd since she'd barely seen them before this meeting. Part of her hoped to catch a glimpse of her other brother or her sister, but she tried not to make it too obvious. While she kept an eye out she listened to Pembe. "Only when Uncle Stiltim is around? I can roam around the pridelands all I want whenever I want." She grinned and cocked her head to the side. "Doesn't that just make you soooo jelous of me?"
