Was mainly wondering if anybody else was, and if they encountered the same problem as me, that when the number of people on goes over 90k or so, the site starts slowing waaaay down for them too?

Senryu91 Was mainly wondering if anybody else was, and if they encountered the same problem as me, that when the number of people on goes over 90k or so, the site starts slowing waaaay down for them too? I find that Gaia goes quite slow at certain times anyway, so it might be more to do with the site than your connection, though of course dial-up is always going to be slower anyway.

I feel your pain... Well, not anymore, but I remember what dial-up was like. Oh man, was Guild Wars ever fun on dial-up...
But to answer your question, the site just slows down sometimes. At times my computer will actually fail at loading the site.

At home I'm on dial-up. That is why I like it at school more, since they have a faster internet connection (not sure what) and better computers.
It doesn't help that at home my parents believe in the "limited time" rule where they give you only so much time in hopes it keeps you out of trouble. Most of the time I only have 45 mins at home so by the time I load around four pages at least 10 mins have already gone by.
