One day, the whole world looks like an open page. This is the private roleplay between Lunette, Sylph, and Sadie. Owned by SteelRain, Ol-j-man/Arcanight, and myself.
Lyrics are from: "I'm Gonna Fly" by Sydney Forest. (Yes, it's from Kiki's Delivery Service. <3)

 Parents were such stiffs sometimes. Cybil was more flexible than her father, sure, but even she didn't want her ickle little daughter to go out on her own just yet. And William, ho!, he didn't want her taking one step out of Bos's Forest for reasons not known to her. So of course in the early twilight of morning, Sylph quietly climbed down the tree without disturbing the webs, crept beneath her parents' sleeping forms (Will was a deep sleeper and nocturnal; his outing yesterday had left him in a spell that'd keep him until at least the afternoon), and snuck out to the borders of the trees. K.C. was her unwilling partner, nervously looking about as she padded forward.
{You sure about this?} he half-whispered, half-whined to her for the seventy-third time; she'd actually been keeping count.
"Nope." Sylph paused, poking her head out from a bush, catching her first gaze of real flatland. Pink eyes wide in delight, she hopped out and began to lope with wide strides, loving the feel of the wind against her form as she ran freely. Her poor spider had to cling on with effort with several strings of web, wincing every bound away from their home she made. "Besides, they'll be sleeping for a while, and it'll be so boring. Anyways, don't you want to see the sunset, Kay?"
{If it means getting away like this, then no!} But Sylph only laughed and slowed down her pace to a brisk trot for him.

Sadie was more honest than Sylph, and had accidentally wandered away from her doting mother and less than doting father while sleep-walking. Apparently, it was a horrible new habit of hers. She woke up once, and realized her parents were nowhere to be seen. Not knowing which way she came from, she was afraid to go in any direction, lest she go the wrong direction and wander even farther away from her parental units. "Darn it, I think I need to be tied up when I go to sleep." With that, she yawned and went back to sleep. Afterall, she couldn't move and it was still nighttime.* --- * A few hours passed, and Sadie's bad habit started up again. She was dreaming about climbing up a dark mountain made out of sandpaper rocks. The figure she was climbing after was hard to identify, what with it being so high up and hidden in clouds. Finally, the clouds shifted and Sadie caught a glimpse of the creature. It was her sister. She had to save her from falling! As she rushed to her sister's rescue in her dream, she was actually rushing towards Sylph in real life. Wonder if Sylph knows you're not supposed to wake sleep-walkers..

A better question would be asking about Sylph's reflexes. Oh, she was pretty good at reacting and dodging and evasive manuevers, but her problem lied in the fact that often her perverse curiousness blinded her from the instinct to save herself. An example: something was launching itself at her, another Nikku by the looks of it, and she could feel K.C.'s urgent tugs at her fur to roll out of the way. But the thing looked so weird, though: she could hear hoovesteps for one, that was odd; its eyes looked closed, making Sylph wonder if it was maybe sleepwalking or blind; there was also things sticking out of its head, kinda like horns bent the wrong way; and some circle thingamabob was floating over its head as it rushed towards the Spider Nikku (A halo? Really?). It was just too good to pass up having her little question answered: what would happen if they col-
Boomp!
. . . Well that thing hit harder than it looked!
{Eeeeee!} screeched K.C. as he was promptly thrown off seconds after the bump-in. Sylph faceplanted not too long after (nearly squishing the little spider), followed by a dizzied mewl as she flopped over onto her back. "Whoa . . . the stars are still in the sky, Kay! Lookie!" Man did her head hurt, though . . . That ruined the moment a tad. Slowly her eyes lost the little stars in vision (to her dismay the sky was indeed not filled with the things), and Sylph managed to turn her head about, wondering what happened to the other Nikku.

[[ xDD Sylph is awesome. <3 ]]
Once the two nikkus collided, Sadie's hooves instantly dug into the ground, attempting to stop herself. Unfortunately, it only succeeded in making the sleepyhead trip and tumble and roll. She flopped and curled and fell all over herself. She actually rolled quite a ways until she stopped.
Finding some sort of footing, she managed to stand up. Not for long. After a few minutes of trying to stand up, Sadie finally accomplished that goal. Now to get this vision issue sorted out.. All the little mountain nikku could see was some brown blurry stuff, some blue blurry stuff, and a pinkish blurry blob about 10 feet away. Her knees knocked together, so she decided it would better to sit. Sitting helped a bit, her vision was getting slightly clearer by the second. "Who.. who are you?" She asked the pink blob, her voice as wobbly as her legs. She didn't actually know what she was talking to, it might've been a bush. Regardless, she decided to ask anyway. After all, if it was just a bush and no one was around, no one could laugh at her for talking to a bush!
She tried to remember what happened.. She didn't remember anything that happened in real life, but she remembered the dream about her sister. "My sister! Where's my sister?!" Sadie got up and ran around in a panic, almost bumping into Sylph again.

|~| Shanku. XD Randomisity ftw! I hope it rubs off a bit on Sadie, that way they'll both be made of win. |~| Adding to the distraught cries of the weird hooved thing was the spider's reprimanding high pitched tone. {WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!} he yelled at the still somewhat dizzied Sylph, who proceeded to blink at him in reply. Her apathy made him all the more annoyed, and the tiny insect began to hop up and down in fury; she giggled since it looked like he was defying gravity while she was upsidedown. {And you almost squished me, too! What is WRONG with you?!}
"Hey . . . it talked!" The Spider Nikku broke into a large grin, vivid pink eyes watching the winged figure prance about wildly in amusement. "YO! Over here!" she called and promptly rolled over, once more almost squashing her companion. Ignoring K.C.'s attempts to wring her attention back, Sylph trotted over to the poor thing, the black bands glowing like coals on her tail as the sun began to rise behind her. Resigned to follow the ADD-suffering creature, the spider grumbled and hopped on after her.
"God that was some crash, huh?" the Nikku said with a laugh, turning her head to follow each of the other's movements. "My name's Sylph, but I dunno who your sis is. Or who you are. Oh, and what's with the hooves, huh?" she asked suddenly. "And the halo? And the wings? And the horns?" She could only remember one or two tales from her parents about having met a Nikku like that before; 'cept they didn't really like him.
