Well I'd went on zipline in Virginia while on a campout, and going sking with the boy scouts this winter.But sleding tops them all!

Our troop went to this summer camp where we got to jump off telephone poles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sooo muchhhh funnnn! mrgreen

I'm I 2nd year cadette so I have yet to go on a destination. I'm in TX and our troop has limited funds. Any ideas of where to go?

This summer my troop spent a whole week at Great Wolf Lodge(indoor waterpark) in Williamsburg and next year we're planning on spending a week at Hershey Park in PA.

I am in N.J. and for GS we whent to Minnisoda over the summer to go to the mall of america and we drove there so we stoped in chicago and by the great lakes on the way there and I whent to go 2g2 Lura Ingles Wilders house(little house on the prarrie). Wwe stoped there on the way back!! rofl

That would be fun! Ziplining! The farthest distance I've ever ziplined would be 30 feet off a high ropes course. I'm a second-year cadet in New Jersey.
So far the only fun place we went was snow tubing in PA. I couldn't go because I was sick, but the rest of my troop said it was pretty lame.
For our OP Trip in a few years they want to go to Europe. I wanna go to Korea or China, though. We might not even go, we have very little funding.

in 2006 my girl scout troop went to mexico for 2 weeks we stayed at our cabana [one of the 4 world centers for girl guides and girl scouts] and we stayed in tacalli in mexico city
we fundraised for 2 years
then in 2007 we went to s.o.a.r. [spirit of adventure rendevous] in b.c. canada for 8 days
that one we fundraised for a year

My girl scout troop worked really hard to raise a ton of money. We started when I was an eighth grader and the summer going into my Junior year of high school (so about 3 years later) I found myself in a plane on my way to Norway...Yes the country in Europe. It was probably the most amazing experience. i have traveled a lot of places but there was something rather special about being in Europe and knowing you had worked so hard to get their yourself.
