I have been asked to do Sinclair, let's hope I can do this pretty well.
Sinclair is the most massive landmass on the planet. So massive in fact, that while one spot is experienceing daylight, the other half is in the middle of the night. Thus, it is nicknamed the 'Eclipsing Continent' for being unable to be completely day or night. The place is split in half by a tall mountain range, which stretches far above the clouds, some rumor the sun rests on top, bobbing from side to side, which is what makes it impossible for the entire place to be light or dark at the same time. No one has verified this, of course. The place has one major fault though. Literally. There is a fault line travelling underneath this place, making it prone to Earthquakes, and small tremors. As such, the buildings are specially designed to absorb the whole shake, unless it is a real big one, in which case the buildings can still be destroyed. The people are slightly more adept and keeping their balance as well, what with having to live in the Earthquakes since they were swaddlings in diapers. Deaths aren't as frequent as it would seem, what with on the average only one person dieing an Earthquake, and that is only because they were doing somehting stupid in the first place. As for the mountain, most people take a ship and travel around it, in order to get from city to city. However, there is one other way to get to the otherside. Climbing the mountain is as good as suicide, no one has ever made it to the top, even with wings. the air is too thin, and you would suffocate to death. There is a patht rhough the mountains, but it is full of beasts not found on the outside, those that dwell in the mountains. They hate to have their territory invaded, and will fight together to oust such a person. People ahve gone in, and some have come out. But most perish in those depths, never to be heard from again.
