I wanted to make this thread after reading an article about it by Gala Darling.
Oh, I love classic stripping! I don't have a certain someone to do it for, but if I did I imagine I would do it on a weekly basis, at least! I don't even think of it in a naughty sort of way... it just sounds like so much fun!
So... lets talk about it. mrgreen
What is, or what would be, your favorite thing to wear (or strip out of) and what sort of music would you want to strip to. (I think my music would have to match my outfit...)
And WILL ANYONE OUT THERE be stripping to the song 'Santa Baby' in a few days? wink

I'd love to be a burlesque dancer, I just think that it looks like a lot of fun... maybe not for my day job exactly but the dancers I've seen always look as though they're thoroughly enjoying themselves, even when they're just watching shows.
I'm completely obsessed by burlesque at the moment ^-^ xx

I think I would say "Little Drop of Poison" by tom waits, with a classic smoky bar-singer gown and the whole nine yards of lingerie.

the first thing that pops into my mind is "hey big spender" by peggy lee, but if i got creative i suppose i could think of something a little more original, haha.
as for the outfit, it'd probably be something that started off with a huge fur coat, then got down to a whole lot of sexy, sexy lingerie. :3

For the tunage, something like the soundtracks to those old noir films, y'know, the really jazzy music that just makes one think of rainy alleys, crime, and femme fatales :]
I saw Immodesty Blaize do a reverse strip tease once xD
Never thought a crowd could get so excited about someone putting their clothes on.

I'm currently working on a number corresponding to the song "Kansas City Shuffle" and altering a Dorothy costume. I plan to do the whole stockings, and finish off with some fencenets, my polka dotted corset, and possibly some blue sequined pasties, though - I will see how it all turns out.
Im also kinda working on a Micheal Buble number with, "London town", that will involve my black satin corset, and a black raincoat, with an umbrella with polka dots...or so Im planning. smile

I've seen her do that, it's a lot trickier than it looks especially in seamed stockings - I've not found a particularly elegant way to get into them and get my seams straight yet! Mythril_thorns that sounds amazing xx
