Altagrasia is a city thriving, if onyl because it is the only one on the West side of the continent before the mountain range. And that is a long walk. So, the people at this city know they can charge merchants whatever price they want to move across. Although, they are pretty nice about it, not raising their price mucha bove the average, despite their ability to do so. The people are mostly nice, and the guards pleasent. However, unknown to the general population, the guards, and everyone else around the world is that the inside of this place is corrupt. so corrupt that sticking your finger inside of it may pull the rest of you into the dark society. An underground black market is ruling the place, making sure no other city opens up on the West side, thus allowing them to control prices with relative ease.
