It's the Year of the Falling Stars, and the world lies in peril as a dark force takes over. Four teenagers, the T'Kaler, have been chosen to protect our world from this force. And, although they haven't discovered their powers yet, they are far more powerful together than apart. They come from the farthest parts of the Islands, Valaishia and Acadia. Different Islands, different Clans, different pasts.
Can they save their own from destruction?

Rules of Roleplay
1. Don't RP as another person's character.
2. All posts are to be in PAST-TENSE.
3. All posts must have at least three sentences.
4. When Out Of Character, please use double parentheses (())
5. No flaming, trolling, bumping, or botting
6. Do not stray from the time of the story. (It's based off of the Renaissance, so electronics didn't exist)
7. You may NOT kill another person's character without their permission.
8. Do not bring any arguments inside the RP that aren't related to the characters in the RP
9. You may have either one or two characters, depending on your preference.
10. Remember, I am the Goddess. What I say, goes.

Terms
Clans :: Clans are a group of people, normally large in numbers, that spread across their territory. Each clan has a third of the Island that the occupy. Territory boundaries may vary, though, as wars are waged and treaties are made.
Turned :: One who is Turned has given up their Birth Clan, and has gotten rid of their Clan symbol in one way or another. They then can either choose to Turn to a different Clan to take them in, or they can choose to have no Clan at all.
Taverns :: Taverns are a place for people to relax after a hard day at work. Normally, young children are allowed, although there are some Taverns that don't allow children. Food is served, normally ale and a soup and bread, but other food can be served if pleased.

Personality :: Raen is mostly an outgoing girl, but she knows the limits of her actions. She is very intuitive and often asks questions that people don't want to answer. Raen is tends to slip into the role of leader in a small group, but lets other people have their say if needed.
Biography :: Raen's mother, a Cark, died giving birth to her twin younger brothers, Fay and Paro, and her father skipped town with another woman shortly afterwards. Her mother's only brother, Vahn, brought the young orphans to his house above the small Moonsong Tavern, which he owned. As soon as Raen was strong enough to push a broom, she was put to work at the tavern to make a living for herself and her brothers. Her uncle sent her to a small school at the edge of the village so that she could learn to read, write, and do simple arithmetic so that she could one day take over Moonsong Tavern. As she grew, she was also taught how to cook the tavern's meals, and how to make the best bread in the village. She normally looks after her brothers as she works in the tavern, keeping a careful eye on their antics. She also has feelings for her friend, Lunic.
Abilities :: Raen has an education, so she can read, write, and do simple arithmetic. She can also cook and clean. She can keep young children busy simply by giving them a stick and a leaf.
Likes :: 1. Raen likes to play with her little brothers, for they keep her occupied and distracted from her past.
2. Raen likes warm vegetable soup because it warms her from the inside and keeps her going.
3. Raen likes to spend time with her uncle, learning how to take care of a tavern.
4. Raen likes to talk to the customers in the tavern to learn about far off places and things.

When he turned 18 he decided to leave his clan because violence had escalated, people were dying mysteriously, and join a new one. He was greeted into the Arala clan with open arms and doors. He soon met Raen, and they became friends quickly. He has since grown feelings for Raen.
Abilities :: Lunic has the ability to keep people smiling, whether it be by telling a story or making a joke, or just being himself. He can read and write, and is also good at art.

Personality :: Tess is somewhat of a quiet girl, sometimes she talks a lot or other times she tends to be quiet. It really all depends on her mood.
Biography :: Tess was born as a single child in a wealthy family. She was raised to be polite, gentle and become a lady. Over the years as she grew older, she was tired of the same routine everyday that was plan out for her. She hardly got to out and meet other people other than seeing her music teacher who taught her how to play instruments, she was mostly locked up in her house with her mom. Her dad was the only one that left the house for work. Occasionally maids and butlers would play with the games she invented to keep herself occupied. But as Tess grew up, her mother would scold her for playing such child like games and eventually maids and butlers would not play with her. Tess stopped talking to everyone as if she was muted, but she wasn't. She was just bored and tired of how everyday was the same, her family brought her a baby red-tailed hawk. Of course, a normal person could not have afford it but Tess began to be attached to the hawk and started talking again. Her family finally let her out the house to see the world because the hawk was always bringing back dead mice and they couldn't stand it. Tess changed her clothes to make her look like a Cark and brought her hawk with her and learn how to cook and have fun.
Abilities :: Can play any instruments and make them sound really good in any condition their in and can cook a little bit.

Personality :: Ayaana is usually a bit quiet or reserved, trying to avoid confrontation of a problem. If she is faced with a situation she is unable to get out of, she takes it seriously, and focuses solely on the mission. Once Ayaana starts to feel comfortable with a person, she talks more, and she usually thinks before talking.
Biography :: Ayaan'a father runs an inn, called The Traveler's Treasure. Her mother met her father in their early years, and the two dated on and off, always feeling an attraction to each other. They eventually married, and within the first couple months learned of Ayaana's creation. Ayaana inherited her mother's eyes and slim figure, and her father's reserved personality. Her mother gave birth to her younger brother when Ayaana was 7, and named him Nabeel. His moods tend to vary drastically, but he is usually outgoing and creative. Ayaana and Nabeel help their parents run the inn, Ayaana doing any task she is set to, and Nabeel handling baggage, and taking care of the guests' horses, carriages, and such. When Ayaana isn't helping around the inn, she can be found in the small study of the inn, the forest outside of the village, or a secluded or quiet spot. Her family lives in the top suites of the inn, and Ayaana has been brought up to be a helpful and obedient hostess. Ayaana tends to grow bored of the community at times, hoping something will actually happen to her. When in the forest, she takes her father's knife, to practice with. She enjoys this basic knowledge of self-defense, and gives her a reason to practice something.
Abilities :: Ayaana has been trained in cooking and cleaning, so she may help with the inn. She attended school until she was 13, to gather a basic knowledge of historic clans, writing, reading, and math. In the forest, she works on handling a knife, such as attacking, defending, and gathering.

He was a young elf when his mom died (Sixty something). It's been about fourty or so years since. He kills for money, steals for money, etc. Out of necessity. He knows Kain, wishes he could have seen him grow up. Was friends with the boy, only reason why he regrets leaving.
Abilities :: Is a ranger, can kill stealthily from far away. He can use crossbows or longbows, he is proficient with long scimitars. Can control the shadows to darken the area he is in.
Likes :: 1. Money, he needs it.
2. His bows, they were his fathers.
3. Strange people, he's strange.
4. The poor, he does what he can to help them.
5. Hard working people, because they umm...work hard?
Dislikes :: 1. Pompous bastards who think they own the world.
2. People who bully for no reason.
3. The part of the clan he belonged to, they killed his mother. I haven't figured out why yet. neutral
