Open to anyone, really, I'm just bored. (And releasing a bit of frustration.)
Setting: Same as the base RPG.

The teen grumbled as she stalked up to her room. Usually it took a bit to get her in a pissy mood, but this was just one of those things, one of those sore spots, that made it easy to make her feel foul.

"Ugh, stuck in a bloody damn unholy trifectum." she muttered under her breath, reaching her floor and bee-lining it straight for her door. Any students around immediately made way, for the electric air around her was evident moreso than usual. Probably due to her mood.

Slamming the door behind her, Elektra dropped her books unceremoniously to a random spot on the floor before flopping onto her bed face-first. What did it matter what her taste was? So she happened to like girls as much as guys, who cares? As if being a mutant didn't make her life complicated enough already, now the people who were supposed to be a bit more understanding of differences were shunning her due to her personal romantic tastes. But that wasn't all.

No, what really made her foul was that one stuck up girl.. Elektra couldn't even remember the b***h's name, just that her attitude needed a readjustment. So it was Christmas coming up, her point was? Today was Elektra's holiday, not 3 days from now. Some students celebrated Hannukah, some Kwanza. Elektra celebrated Yule, or the Winter Solstice. But that damn girl decided it was enough to spread a rumor about the electric teen that she practiced something evil. 'Oh, if I could wring her neck I would..' she seethed, punching her pillow a couple of times.

Pagan, bi, and a mutant. Hearing rumors about her for one thing or another was unsettling, and this was what turned her day foul.

A pounding resounded down the hall as the brown haired mutant stood outside of the plain, brown door. He noted the specially made wooden door handle that almost ironically prevented him from gaining access using his vast control over metal.

The knocking continued as the boy flitted around nervously outside the door. He seemed to be jumping around, a mix of excitement and nerves flooding his body. "Come on, open up..." he muttered beneath his breath, not really letting his voice raise above a whisper. The hallway was bare outside of the boy and his companion, who was tucked neatly around a corner, waiting to be revealed at his own convenience.

He thought back to what had happened during the day, how he had noted that it was official winter, despite it having been snowing since early November there at the Xavier institute. Nothing of note until about halfway through, when the rumors started. Having known the subject of the rumor, he had spent the rest of the day finding everything he could about it, even who it had originated by.

And now he stood outside the girls door. Running a hand through his light brown hair, the man sighed. "I know I'm going to get shocked for this..." he muttered to himself, before saying aloud, "So, they are saying you are an evil lesbo witch. I've got a pond and a duck, and I want to see if it's true..."

Of course, he was hoping that she realized he was merely referencing Monty Python and wouldn't come through guns blazing...or at least fingers blazing with electricity. At least, if she did, he would stay conscious long enough to do what he intended when he came here originally.

It had been a couple of hours since she'd gotten back, and by this point she'd long since calmed down. A few breathing exercises and some meditation, as well as her pillow and mattress taking the brunt of her frustrations, helped. So did a silent prayer and ritual to mark the rebirth of the Sun.

She'd all but tuned out everything from the hall and from the rooms to either side of her. Her room was her domain, and what was there was all that mattered to her. All the outside influences, no matter how negative, were not going to take her holiday from her.

..but the incessant knocking that started obviously was going to require an answer or else it wasn't going to stop.

"So, they are saying you are an evil lesbo witch. I've got a pond and a duck, and I want to see if it's true..."

Elektra settled an icy glare upon the direction of the door and the voice from the other side. Standing slowly, the teen made her way to the door, turning the lock and opening it just enough for her to peer out to see who it was.. Oh. Ares. Of course, who else would have the balls to be a b*****d like that around here..?

Her dark eyes stared at him, electric blue tinges encroaching on her irises. "What do you want?" she asked, her tone non-too-amused. She figured he was up to something, she knew Ares wouldn't be stupid enough to piss off an electricity-manipulator considering what his mutation was.

He was beginning to think that she wasn't going to answer. If not, hours upon hours of planning and scheming were going to go to waste. He had spent more or less the entirety of the day on this little project of his. And it was going to be ruined. RUINED. Heads were going to roll. Children would run crying to their mothers. Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes... The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - MASS HYSTERIA!

Oh wait, she opened the door. "What do you want?" she inquired, staring at him with eyes crackling with electricity. She was understandably pissed, but hopefully they had been around each other long enough for her to at least be used to it by now. The fact that she hadn't shocked him into oblivion was hopefully the proof of that.

"Oh, um. Well..." he said, quite nervous, though still obviously excited. "I heard about, well, you know. But enough about that. I didn't know you were one of those...I mean I had no idea you celebrated Yule. So, in order to make up for it, I got you a present. Now, I know what you are going to say, but don't do anything, I swear this is totally worth it."

Disappearing around the corner, a squeaky wheel was the only noise to give away that something was comming. From the darkness of down the hall, a dolly appeared, one of those devices used to tote things around when it was either to heavy, or the user was incredibly lazy...much like Ares.

However, it was what was strapped to the dolly that was the intended present. It wasn't able to be fully distinguished at first, but as bits of metal floated away from the form, it was revealed to be a wiggling...person?

As the dolly came to rest in front of the door to Elektra's room, Ares smirked as it was revealed to be the same girl who had perpetrated the rumors of earlier of the day. She wiggled, screamed, but her mouth was bound by a large strip of metal.

"Now, I want you to apologize to my friend here..." Ares demanded, crossing his arms over his chest as he stared at the girl. She continued to wiggle and scream muffled noises through the metal muffle. "No no no, do it. I can't hear you...come on, apologize.

"Oh, that's right. You can't. Because you are a selfish ignorant b***h! That, and I have you muffled...." Laughing, he placed a hand on her mouth, removing the metal piece.

"I'll kill you you little punk. How dare you do this to me. I'm going to tell Xavier, I'm going to get you kicked out, I'm going to...." Her voice was remuffled once again as Ares reapplied the metal strip.

Getting close to the girl's ear, he whispered roughly, "I said...you will apologize to her. Or the agony I will bring on to you for hurting my friend will be much...much worse than your little 15 seconds of embaressment..."

The girl struggled for a bit longer, before her body noticiably relaxed. She nodded, and Ares removed the muzzle. "I'm sorry for calling you an evil lesbo witch...and..."

Before she could continue, the muzzle was reapplied. "Ok, enough of you!" Grabbing the dolly, he crafted a third wheel on the bottom of it, and pushed the newly tricycled contraption down the hall. The girls muffled screams soon disappeared.

Laughing softly, Ares returned his gaze to the female mutant. "So...I'm not exactly sure if it is kosher or what not to give presents at Yule or what not...but I hope you enjoyed mine...." He was blushing slightly, his face tinted a soft red. "I know we don't always see eye to eye, and we've had our share of mishaps....but...well...Happy Yule..."

Elektra stood still, visibly unamused while waiting for Ares to get on with whatever he wanted. At least he was trying to be respectful, but it was painfully obvious that he was tiptoeing around the "witch" word as if were an evil omen. For crap's sake, it wasn't a bad word!

But giving him the benefit of the doubt, for once, she stayed silent and just waiting, leaning on the door frame. Her brow raised when he mentioned a present, her intrigue piquing. 'Present? Why?' she wondered. It wasn't like they were best of friends, in fact they hardly got along. The whole team thing wasn't exactly working out 100% and all.

Upon seeing the little dumb blonde carted over, Elektra visibly tensed, her electric aura pulsing with new static energy as she accessed the wintery air and natural static electricity. She glared more than just daggers at the girl, her entire feature displayed her anger, and in her expression and the look in her eyes read all the things that went through her mind. But her beliefs were such that she followed only one rule, the Wiccan Rede. 'And it harm none, do as ye will.'

The teen knew all about karma and the Threefold Rule, and knew that the Rede was more than a rule, it was a warning. She had no intention on practicing "evil magick" ever, but some people were too ignorant to even listen to reason. This child before her was one of them, and it left her with bitter feelings for the girl's lack of intelligence.

The coerced apology wasn't much, but Elektra did well to hide her displeasure completely. "Yeah, sure." she muttered in answer, continuing to glare even after Ares shoved the cart away.

He was blushing slightly, his face tinted a soft red. "I know we don't always see eye to eye, and we've had our share of mishaps....but...well...Happy Yule..."

The older teen was a bit taken aback by Ares' reddened face. Was he... blushing? Elektra blinked, her features completely changed in attitude as her confusion took over. "Uh... thanks." After a second, she snapped out of her own state and half-grinned. "And yes, there can be gift-exchanging at Yule. It's a winter holiday, not much different from any other religion. Mine just more focuses on the rebirth of the Sun and the coming lengthening of daylight hours instead of ...commercialized something-or-other, or a religious icon taken out of context." she shrugged.

"You're very welcome..." he replied, scratching the back of his head nervously. He still had another present in mind, but that would wait for a little bit. "Yeah, my holiday is mostly about free presents and a big-a** feast. Um...you know...family togetherness and all...." he said, blatantly lying, but he hoped that the sheer audacity of him suggesting that would lead to humor.

As a loud thump resounded through the hall, Ares couldn't help but giggled as he mentally played out a scene of the girl crashing into a wall. He glanced down the hall before returning his gaze to the girl before him. "So...are you ready for your next present?"

Slinking into her room more or less uninvited, he walked over to a wall where a simply electrical outlet lay. "Now, as you may or may not know, in a standard electrical outlet, the little prong at the bottom is called the ground wire. It is, essentially, a wire that is connected to something in the ground so that in the case of faulty wiring or insulation, energy is transmitted to that instead of whatever is housing the bad wire. Normally, electricity doesn't flow through this at all, which is why I can do this and not get shocked."

The young mutant takes out a length of metal and slides it into that port in the wall. Smirking, he stands up as the length of wire seems to extend as he walks. "Now, this length of metal I am using is actually something I've been kicking around in my head, it's a type of metal that more or less attracts electricity towards it. Hence why I'm keeping it a bit away from you. Now, it originally was developed as a sort of EMP type of thing, where I'd stick it on or in some sort of device and try to draw out all of the power from it...but...I came up with a different use for it.

"By connecting it to that ground port, this basically became a supercharged lightning rod. So, say, if I were to do something silly like..."

Taking a step forward, the metal-master mutant (ooooh, alliteration!) brushed up against some exposed flesh of the electric girl. An arc of energy shot out from her, seemed to jump harmlessly through his body, and shoot straight into the grounded metal rod. "Oooh, that felt kinda tingly...but here I am, unharmed!

"What this means is, well..." Taking a small risk and hoping his calculations were correct, he took another step forward and gave the most likely shocked, if the pun could be pardoned, girl a firm hug.

It was something the boy had wanted to do for a while, but since he was mostly covered in metal, and metal reacted quite poorly with electricity and the human body, he never really dared try it, or even try to show his feelings for her. But, well, now was a good of time as any.

Holding the embrace for just a few seconds, he released and took a step back. "Just...wanted to let you know that I'm here for you if you ever need anything. I know this little team of ours was kind of haphazardly thrown together, but you are one of the few friends I have here...so...um...yeah..."

Once again the slight blush returned to his face, and he flashed a cheesey grin at her almost purely out of the inability to think of anything else to do. "So, um...I guess I will be going..."

(( Yes, well, I try. I'd hate for all our efforts (and gold) to go to waste after all. This guild was for literate rp'ing. ^^

Be careful, I might have a new DBZ AU story... or a new main-rp post thread ala time jump. ^^; ))
