I am certainly starting to appreciate their music. I only liked their song "I wanna be sedated" for so long, but now I am starting to listen to the rest of their stuff. I had heard through the grape vine that while the punk movement had co opted the band as their own, that the Ramones had always viewed themselves as a regular rock band. Anyone know if that holds some credit or just smoke being puffed up in the air.
