Anyways, my brothers came over for Christmas yesterday. Actually, it was my brother, and my other brother who was accompanied by his wife and their infant child, I think he's two years old. (Oh, also my brother's wife's sister and mother came, but they're not in the story. At the moment, they're in another house.)

So, earlier this morning, about three hours or so, I was in my sister's room, manning the computer. Checking my music, and whatnot. My brother was in the kitchen, as well with his wife, and their child was about 10 feet away.

Suddenly, I head my brother's wife SCREAMING at the top of her lungs "Leave me alone, get your hands off of me!" (in Spanish, though.)

My sister, and my other brother rush out to the kitchen to see what's going on. It's very chaotic, apparently my brother was... chocking her? confused Seems very odd of my brother, he is a very good man and one of the nicest people I know.

One thing leads to another, and my other brother tells him to lay off his hands on his wife. Meanwhile, my brother is explaining that he was trying to hold her from hitting him, which is something I truly believe in. And all of this conversation is in scream mode, max decibel.

It all happened in a flash, but my brother (who is married) is like "it's none of your business, stay out of my life."

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, they're both around 250 lbs. and are very muscular, and they're about 27 years olds. So, you can guess what happened next.
There's four people between them, me, my mother who suddenly came after hearing the screaming, my sister, and my married brother's wife. The infant, meanwhile, is crying nonstop. Because, as we all know, this would be very traumatic for a child.

Suddenly, they both rush at each other and, I am not sure who threw the first fist, but a fist flew. Me, feeble as I am, have my hands wrapped around one of my brothers (the biggest one, who is not married) pulling him away from my other brother. My mother is helping me, and my sister and sister-in-law is pulling my other brother away. They're giants, and they could easily tear each other apart.

My mother collapses to the floor suddenly, crying uncontrollably. This family has always been stable, so this was surprising for my mother who've never seen her children act in such a way. My sister and I had to basically fan her and give her a glass of water to calm down, she was seriously sad. And, she is nearly 60 years old and has diabetes, so this little event was surely not something good for her frail heart.

Right now, the atmosphere is better than it was a few hours ago, but my dad just came in from the store, about 2 minutes ago. He was carrying a 30-can box of beer, which is not good seeing as how both of my brothers can prove to be heavy drinkers. stare


Hopefully, the next days go by without another incident such as today, but this ******** sucks.
