Bible Gateway is a valuable tool to Christians new and old alike. It is an online bible that allows you to search for a specific verse in the bible. It functions similar to google and thats how easy it is. You select the version of the bible you want to use (many to choose from), then you type a word or phrase and search. It will give you links to all the places it can be found in the bible.
This site allows you to add a search to your own web page and a verse of the day. However VotD is not BBCode capable yet i am requesting that they produce an Image based VotD so that it can be used on Gaia.
