my band director is completely against props
and i'm so happy that he is
i haaaate props ;-;
and we do like amazing in competition without them
against bands double our size that use props
wooop
we usually get grand champ or runner up
because we're hot
anyway, does you band use props or not?
if you do, do you like it that way or do you hate it?
last year, a band in my state did a time-travel show, and
they had a GIANT and i mean GIANT time-travel machine that
made noises and blew smoke and everything
that same band this year did a tropical show and had a giant inflatable
dancing man, and two giant fake palm trees that i could probably see
from a mile away
yup
props are so rediculous gonk

Never had props either. But we do give stuff to the audience to use during our show. For example, last year we had a Queen show, and we had a bicycle bell part where our pit played bicycle bells. We also have bells to our parents and had them for sale, so when that part came up, they played also! XD

My band uses props every year. Last year we did a postcard them and we had a huge postage stamp made of canvas in the middle of the field it was awsoeme. And then this year we had three small props and one large one that two of our girls in the colorguard painted during to last show. It was awsoeme. blaugh

i don't like props. none of the bands in our league use them. i've only seen them in videos and at the band expo we went to this year.

There's only been one show that I've liked with props and that was a band that had ramps all over their field that they marched over and it was crazy cool. I kinda think most props take away from the show though just cause personally, I'm distracted by props I see in other people's shows. But that is just my opinion. Feel free to disagree
