Word Of The Day oxymoron Rhetorical figure by which contradictory terms are conjoined so as to give point to the statement or expression; the word itself is an illustration of the thing. Now often used loosely to mean "contradiction in terms." I love oxymorons. Here are some examples of it. actual reenactment born dead Civil War definite maybe exact estimate friendly competitor good grief head butt Insanely Normal jumbo shrimp locks on 7-11 stores which are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year major minority new classic one choice Personal business Quickly Slowing Down RUBBER CEMENT Savings & loan tragic comedy uninvited guest Vanilla Fudge whole half young adult zero deficit Yay!
