Crimson eyes stared ahead lazily. The night was young, yet no one was wandering around as they should. Fenris was growing rather tired of doing nothing. No one to scare or trick. What madness was this? How could a Trick Kitsu go on without scaring someone? This was unspeakable. It was like a Nightmare....acting like an angelic. Ugh, so tiring.

Sharpened claws dug into the ground as he entered the HQ. His glowing markings danced with the fireside lighting, allowing him to appear even more scary than normal. All he did was lay there scratching his claw boredly against the hard floors. This was no fun at all. Nothing to do, no one to interact with. How dare they not come out to play with him? He played nice...for the most part.

He batted an uninterested eye at the small Kitsu in front of him. The little one was overjoyed to find someone. The size difference was obvious. If he wanted to, he could probably squish the little thing with one paw. Still, the little one may prove entertaining. Playtime was different for the two of them. What he wanted was something much more sinister. But for now he would play along.

As sweetly as he could muster, he replied cheerfully, "Sure. What do you want to play?" He faked his excitment. Something violent, hopefully. This feeling of wanting to crush this little thing ran through his mind constantly. Ah, it'd be sweet to hear her little squeals.

Playing ball could lead to violence more quickly than hide n' seek. Though playing the latter of the two means he could get away with more without getting into too much trouble. Silly little one didn't know what she was getting herself into. If she only knew, then she wouldn't have approached him in the first place. But where would the fun be in that?

"Fenris," he offered a cheesy smile, "Let's play...Hide n' Seek?" She'd probably end up with some intentional scratches here and there. Maybe a partially maimed tail or something. Either way he was certain there were a lot more things he could get away with. This is going to prove fun. Yes, entertainment.

Little children were so easily amused it was almost painfully funny. After introducing himself she repeated his name over and over, to the point where he wanted to silence her physically. But he had to play patient if he wanted to harm her during hide 'n seek. It will make up for her annoyingly calling his name on top of her weird physical displays of affection. What weird little one would in their right minds climb up a giant Kitsu? Let alone a Trick Kitsu. 'least it'd be easier to convince her it wasn't his fault if she got hurt. He wasn't a Nightmare.

"I'm sure. Unless you had something else you wanted to play in mind?" He asked politely. All his acting was growing tiring pretty fast. She better make up for it later when he started having some real fun. Or else he may as well just maul her then leave her bleeding there.

Now what was this. He had to sink DOWN to her level so she could climb up on him and make a fool of himself? Fenris might've been desperate, but he wasn't all that desperate. The chances of doing mean things to her were even smaller than playing catch with that weird ball of hers. No, this was defintely a big fat no. "I'm not so sure about that...You may hurt yourself. Or I might slip and get you hurt," he acted out. This whole playing as a kind Kitsu thing was not working out to his advantage. This little one was tougher and more naive than he first thought. A big mistake on his part. Either way, he was not about to lower himself down to that level.

"Let's stick with something safer, like hide 'n seek."

This kid! Ugh, she was getting on his nerves fast. Her and her touchy-feely need. He tasted like a mouth full of fur for heaven's sake. Why did she feel the need to publicly display her weird affections? Whatever. He'll put up with her just a little longer. Things just got delayed a little bit. That would be the best way to think of it. With as much of a forced smile as he could muster, "Thanks. You can hide first. Oh, just to be clear you have to tag that person for it to count, right? That's the more fun way," he gave a simple nod. Finally! He can start to get his payback on her for all the things she did to wrong him thus far. Just a few scratches to start out won't hurt...too much.

"I promise to be gentle," He smiled. The definition of gentle was in Fenris, but his definition of gentle was to not kill. Gentle equated to at least a bit of red here and there. And, well, if she cried or whatever after being hurt he'll just leave her alone as he makes his perfect escape. The plan was flawless. He was the mastermind afterall. But if she kept acting the way she was now, she was sure asking for one hell of a beating. Touching him like that without his permission. Who did she think she was? Some stupid little princess with magical unicorns and all that crap? He didn't care if she was just a kit. For all he cared if she was laying there dying from hunger he'd just eat something delicious right in front of her. Oh, how evil he was.

"How about inside? Once you run inside you're safe until you step out completely. Unless you have some other base in mind?"

This was the perfect place for hide n' seek if you weren't the one hiding. About the only places Tale could hide were some bushes and trees. That was about it. Just thinking about this minor detail made Fenris well up with joy. It wouldn't take long to find the little brat. Then it was his time to have fun with her. He could just see it in his head...Going to tag her with his claws "accidently" stretched out. The crying little face of that stupid child as she feels the pain on her skin. And of course, the disappointed face mixed with betrayal as he left her there crying. If she chased after him, he would merely scratch her some more, only this time it would be on purpose. He would make it known, too.

"One...Two...Three..." He continued counting as he tried to pick up the scent of that brat. She wasn't too far away, which was good. The less time it took for him to find her the better. For him, at least.
