This is most likely Pre-war time period. Back when Jyiraiya dies, and everything is slowly falling apart for the Akatsuki. Before Pein pulled them back together.

Hikaru was 8 years old at the time and had no family or anybody with him so he was always alone.He always liked to walk around the village.one day it was his birthday so he felt more alone since there was no one to celebrate with him.He decided walking on his birthday and stopped at the gates and said to himself"i wonder how the other villages are like?"he always wanted to go out of the village and he was never a genin yet.but at midnight he thought to himself of how it would be like past the gates so he got ready and packed some things and went to the gates.one of the guards saw him and told him"what are you doing here kid go back to the village you are not supposed be here."Hikaru looked at him for a moment and thought to himself"maybe i should just run for it he cant follow me maybe that is a good idea."Hikaru ran as fast as he could past the guards on of the gaurds chased him shouting"GET BACK HERE KID!!"but Hikaru ran as fast as he could without stopping until he ranned so much he was out of energy he looked back and the guard was out of sight"few that was close"Hikaru stated and than walked foward but bumped into a man"hey watch it"Hikaru said.but he looked up and saw a man from kurayami and said"y-y-your from kurayami"the man just looked at him.the man finally said"...and your from konoha."the man picked up Hikaru and ran incredibly fast.Hikaru started shouting"LET GO OF ME HEY LET GO!"but the man didnt listen and knocked Hikaru out.later,Hikaru woke up in some hotel.he walked outside and was shocked to see that he was in Kurayami.the man who captured him asked"Are you ready for your training kid?"
