Just curious as to who plays the Pokemon TCG. (Trading Card Game.) :]
Discuss:
What deck do you use?
Favorite card?
And anything else about the TCG. :]
I use a Rock Lock... at least an attempt at one. :D And I think my favorite card has to be either Dark Tyranitar or the Emerald set's Blaziken. :]

helllooooo,hi ,i use a costomized deck,my fav card is Sceptile,and my cous(whos sitting next to me)fav card is Charmeleon. mrgreen

It's ok, but if no one near you plays, it sucks, plus I hate how you have to use energy cards in your deck. sad

I hate the whole energy thing but the whole game is cool, plus the gameboy game is a good way to get into it. I don't have a fovorite to use in battle but my 2 favorite cards that I own are my Mewtwos and my Mew wich I have yet to see N E BODY HAVE!! blaugh

When you post about your favorite cards, please post which set it's from, seeing as how there're like, 50 different kinds of each cards. ;P (Especially if they're legendary, which is ironic. :B)

The current deck I run is a Walcargo or Magrein, whichever you want to call it. Mainly relies on Hidden Legends Walrein and Deoxys Magcargo. Also uses a combination of Snorunts/Glalies from different sets. I made it past cuts at the Gym Challange qualifier for Worlds in my state with it. ^_^ I heart Ice type decks. Unfortunately, with the release of Scizor and Steelix EXs in Unseen Forces, the type disadvantage will actually have an effect... sad

Yeah Scizor-ex is the most wanted card at the moment. I'm now trying to build some decks with Typhlosion and Typhlosion-ex. Not both in same deck but at the same time tyring both decks. I'm going to a tournament saturday next week (Hidden Legens-on). If i can borrow a 2nd Espeon-ex from someone there I'm gonna play my Espeon-ex deck, otherwise i go for Typhlosion UF (non-ex).
btw. I just joined gaia and this guild, hi all biggrin

Since he said Hidden Legends on, I assume he meant a regular tourney that goes by the newest cutoff rules. As of Sept. 1st, the only sets legal to play are Hidden Legends, Fire red/Leaf green, Team Rocket Returns, Deoxys, Emerald, and the new Unseen Forces. Delta Species will be out the end of October! ^_^

my card deck is interesting. it varies from time to time. but i have yet to come across any new cards. my favorite would be my ho-oh? card and my entiea? i cant spell it is the giant fire dog! i ussaly use my rare cards....

D:Yeah it was a regular modified tournament, I played with Espeon-ex/Gorebyss/Magcargo and Plusles Won round 1 vs. Weezing/Dark Crobat Won round 2 vs. Ludicargo+Jumpluff+Furret Won round 3 vs. Zapturndos Round 3 was funny round, tournament was best of 3, Fitst game if i had draw an energy turn 2 i would have killed her lone voltorb but didn't draw it and lost in the end. The 2nd game I won because I killed her Zapdos-ex and Electrode-ex with my Plusle (6 times his 2nd attack) to take my last 4 prizes. 3rd game she had bad start and I won. Lost round 4 vs. Ludicargo+Lanturn I won game 1 and lost the 2nd and 3rd game Lost round 5 vs. Dragtrode+Rocket's Sneasel-ex Again won game 1 and lost game 2 and 3. So 3-2, it's not too bad, it was a fun deck to play with.

I was so thrilled when I found out that not only was I working the Pokemon Rocks America convention in Phoenix this Sat., but they are apparently paying us in cards. *crosses fingers* C'mon, UFO... I want doubles of an EX so I can trade it to my friend, who's got 2 Lugia EX. He also has 2 Ho Oh EX, but I've got one too, so I don't need it. xp UFO seems to really like me though, as I've pulled Ho Oh, TTar, Magenium, and Feraligatr EXs, as well as Raikou *, and of course, the Rocket's Persian EX that was the boxtopper. My poor friend has pulled the doubles of the two birds, but nothing else, other than his given Persian topper. He's ahead of me in Unowns though... stare
