[-Route 4 is a small route, but there are ledges everywhere that you have to jump down, as it is the outside path down from Mt. Moon into Cerulean City. There are no trainers to battle and once you reach the grassy area at the end, there is no way to get back up to Mt. Moon this way.-]

-Find the move tutors as soon as you exit the cave. They will teach your any of your party Pokemon Mega Punch and/or Mega Kick if any of your Pokemon are able to learn it.

-Battle Pokemon to gain EXP points and level up
-Head to Cerulean City

[Special Area - Mt. Moon Gift Shop]
The Mt. Moon Gift Shop is located on Route 4. You can enter the building through the back entrance, where a little girl named Clavia is waiting. She will generously give you a free Clefairy doll. And if you give her a Clefairy, she will give you a moonstone (limit one per trainer). The front entrance is blocked off by Clavia's grandfather, so that there is no way back to Mt. Moon once you reach Cerulean City. That entrance will be unblocked once the S.S. Anne sets sail.
Clavia's Grandfather sells Clefairy dolls for pokedollars. All Clefairy dolls sell for P100

As soon as Maya and Yue left the cave he offered to teach one of their Pokemon Mega Punch and one Mega Kick. They debated for a while on who would learn what, and settled that Muddle would learn Mega Kick and Mankey would learn Mega Punch. The move tutor took Mankey and Mudkip aside for a few minutes and returned them with their new moves.
Then Yue and Maya walked towards Cerulean City, but noticed two TMs along the way and walked a bit out of the path to pick them up. As the walked over and received the two items, they saw a house and decided to visit the place.
They walked to the door and knocked loudly as a little girl answered. "Hello there!" she exclaimed. "We haven't gotten any visitors in a while." she said as she spotted Maya. "Oh! Aren't you adorable!" she said leading them both inside with the gesture of her hand. "I have something perfect for you!" she said handing Maya a doll of a Clefairy. "I absolutely love Clefairys, but my grandfather won't let me go out and catch myself one. If you ever get the spare time, I'd love it if you caught me one. I'll make it worth your time." she offered.
Yue said he'd consider it and Maya thanked the girl for the complimentary doll as they left and carefully made their way to Cerulean City!

Once Wynter had left the cave, she soon found a TM lying on the ground. It seemed that someone had discarded a lot of them. So she picked one up and put it in her pack.
She soon saw a shop and the door was open, so she entered. It seemed that this man sold Clefairy dolls. A young girl approached her and attempted to hand one to her. "Here, take this. It's cute." said the girl trying to force it into Wynter's hands.
"Um, okay. Thanks." she said bending down, hugging the little girl. "I really appreciate it." Wynter contemplated buying more . . . but didn't as she wanted to save her money for healing items, and frankly she didn't think the dolls were cute, she did however love that the little girl was kind enough to give on to her. She'd always remember that.
They left the shop and found a small patch of grass. Wynter saw something slithering in the grass and an Ekans popped out it seemed to want to play and began circling Wynter. She thought it was being so adorable so she sent out her Zubat, Vahn, to wear it down. Vahn did so and she threw a pokéball at it, hoping to catch it. The pokeball nearly immediately stopped shaking, indicating that she had caught the wild Ekans. She decided to name it Naga.
As she neared the entrance of Cerulean City a man offered to teach her Pokémon the moves Mega Kick and Mega Punch, but none of them could learn it as of yet, so she said she'd come back to him if she ever got Pokémon that could learn it and she wanted them to. He said that'd be fine, he'd be right at the entrance of Cerulean City in Route 4 if she needed him, and she went into Cerulean City.

Lily got out of the cave still mad. She saw something glint in the bushes and instantly forgot her anger. She ambled over to the bushes and found a TM. She smiled then walked on. She could see the towering building of the Cerulean Gym. Thinking of the gym battle ahead, she knew she would win because of all the training she made Peppers go through. She passed two guys who were fighting, not bothering to approach them.
"Hiya hiya! Take a doll." A girl ran over to Lily and shoved a Clefairy doll in her hands. She smiled. "It'd be awesome if you gave me a Clefairy." She popped out a question.
"Um, sorry. I only have a Clefable." Lily shook her head.
"Alright. Well bye!" She ran off into a house. Lily raised her eyebrows then walked into Cerulan City, jumping off a small ledge on the way.

Robyn You think you have the answer..."Finally," Robyn sighed and blinked her eyes rapidly. She still wasn't used to the sunlight. She stretched her arms out, glad of the room she now had. She looked back at Teru. She was staying inside the cave. "I know, I know. You don't like the sun." She returned her shuppet to her pokeball. As she continued toward Cerulean City, she spotted something in the grass, slightly off the path. Curious, she went and investigated it. It was a Tm sitting in the grass. She picked it and put it in her bag with a smile. She started back to the path but was soon stopped by two big body builder type men. "Hey girl, you wanna learn Mega punch, right?!" "Mega kick is the one you want, isn't it?!" Both men spoke at once, in loud booming voices. "You wanna learn Mega drain don't cha?!" Robyn's response took the two men by surprised. "Are you serious," they both questioned at once. "No. By the way, I want to learn Mega punch but I'm not a pokemon," Robyn answered. The man asking about mega kick left disappointed. The other-punch man- said, "I'm not teaching it to you but your pokemon." "Oh, well I think only Cross will be able to learn it," she responded, a little disappointed. She took out Cross's pokeball and released him. Cross was still very worn out. The punch man began teaching him mega punch. Robyn watched in interest. After the basic form was taught, the two began practicing on nearby rocks. Soon Cross master the move. Punch man returned Cross to Robyn. She returned her tired mankey to his pokeball. She continued to the path. The path took her to a house that was labeled as the Mount Moon gift shop. Robyn groaned and entered the back door. A little girl welcomed her. "Hello, here. A gift for you," she said handing a clefairy doll to Robyn. "If you have a Clefairy, I'll give you something for it." "I..don't. Thanks for the doll," Robyn said and hurried out of the building. She headed to Cerulean City. ...I laugh and watch you fall. changes: Obtained Tm05 Roar! obtained a clefairy doll. Cross learned Mega punch! Cross forgot how to fury swipes! Continued in Cerulean City.

 Nomaa Blitz and Ozzy: The Pair Beyond Compare"Ahh, the sunshine," Nomaa said with a smile, moving out of Mt. Moon and onto Route 4. She could see the multiple ledges she would have to traverse to get to Cerulean City in the distance, but the fact that she was this close to her second Indigo League badge made it seem less daunting. Starting her descent, Nomaa just had to keep motivating herself -- after all, she was tired from those days in Mt. Moon, and she was ready for a rest at the pokemon center before she went to take on the Cerulean City Gym.
Making a stop at a small cottage right outside the cave, Nomaa was met by a pretty nice man that offered to teach her pokemon Mega Punch or Mega Kick. After thinking about it, Nomaa decided to have Riley learn Mega Kick, replacing his Leer attack. Waving as she departed from the move tutor, Nomaa headed towards Cerulean City once more. Of course, she was lucky enough to stumble upon another TM as she made her way down, adding it to her growing collection.
Slipping down the side of a particularly high ledge, Nomaa digging the heels of her sneakers into the dirt to keep from moving too quickly, she saw a building off to her right. Landing, she saw a girl come running out the door, a happy smile on her face and a glint of excitement in her eyes.
"Did you just come from Mt. Moon? Did you get a Clefairy? I just love Clefairy! Any chance you can give me one?"
Nomaa looked at the girl, struggling to keep up with everything she was saying as quickly as she was saying it. Rubbing the back of her head as the girl pulled a Clefairy doll from behind her back, hugging it closely, Nomaa found that she was going to have to disappoint the cute little girl.
"Umm, no, I'm sorry. I didn't get a Clefairy, otherwise I would give it to you," she said softly, hoping that the girl wouldn't be too disappointed. Thankfully, she seemed to think that it was alright, though there was a diminishing of the spark in her eye.
"Oh, well that's alright. My family own the gift shop over there, and I just love Clefairy! Here, why don't you have this doll so that you can learn to love Clefairy as much as I do!" Nomaa smiled, accepting the doll she offered with a smile and a thank you. Seeing the girl run back inside, Nomaa waved, looking at the setting sun and knowing that she had to get inside as well. It was time to find a bed and a meal.
Jumping over a ledge and landing in a patch of tall grass, Nomaa was immediately confronted by a flock of wild Spearow. Releasing Ozzy into battle, his confusion attack was enough to take care of the 5 bird pokemon. Glad that she took care of them quickly, she could now see the pokemon center, and the bed that awaited her could no longer be ignored.
