I just got done reading "Girl Interrupted". I hope my daddy doesn't find it because it has a lot of cusswords in it but I liked it a lot! What do you guys like to read?

I like reading various books. Most of the time I like reading fantasy books like the Shannara series. Good books to read.

Mostly Fantasy, I know people who never read anything but "Real Life!"-stories, but reading about other people's problems is not my thing. I have my own troubles, thank you veeery much.
No need to know what 16-year old fictional Sandra is doing with her way-too-old "boyfriend" when her parents aren't looking. Ugh.

*Cough* I really like the Discworld novels, and the fact that Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers proves that God does not exist. cry
(And if he DOES, he certainly hasn't read Discworld. Or he'd swoop down and let it all be undone so Terry would once again be healthy.)

Funny how the Real World keeps on sneaking in.

I like all sorts of books. Lately I've been into psychology books.

Oooh, psychology is good reading. Just put it to a rest for a while as soon as you find yourself analyzing people you meet.
It's... impolite and unless you have some sort of degree, you're most likely wrong. (Heck, even degree-folks can make mistakes.)

Also, it makes a bad first impression to use possible childhood trauma as a conversation starter.

Haha that's true XP

I'll have my degree one day.

Psychology is fun. I had it in high school. XD And yea, might not want to start a conversating with analyzing a person's traumatized childhood, haha.

Me, I like reading books. Anything really. I've read some books my mother read, and I actually liked them. There was one in Victorian times if I can recall. Really good book.

Books are good. Good books are even better. Bad books.. not so much.

Reading a bad book is like trying to chew flour. You just want it to end.

Have you ever tried reading a +500 page book in about 24 hours?

I've nearly managed to do so a few times, it has to be a really great book or you'll simply grow weary within a few hours.

Yay books!

I finally finally finished Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell. This is hard to explain, but it was kind of boring, but really good. Well, not boring, just not exciting. But really fun. :]

And then I read Twilight in two days. And I loved it. gonk

Now I'm reading Enchantment by Orson Scott Card (weird and fun) and Jennifer Government by Max Barry (hilarious).

Jennifer Government... I have got to read that book some day.
Did you know that there's an online game (NationStates) inspired by the book? You can make your own government there.
(I used to have the Most Serene Republic of Mint Chocolate Lovers before I forgot about it and it got deleted.)

XD

Yes, I did know. I had the... I think it was some kind of Republic of Underground Island. But there was some religious affiliation in the name that I fail to recall.

Oh, skittles. We have to import them from Norway or so. They have too much colouration in them (or something like that) to be sold in Denmark.

Last time I had skittles, my sister bought and sneaked them off the Norway ferry. I miss those fruity things.

(Kittens are easy to get, since we have semi-rogue cats living around here.)
