What do you people think about Voldemort?I think he's awesome, way better than most villains, though in the movies they kind of messed him in some kind of way... The book makes him look alot better. Here's a interesting picture I found at my art site.

He was good, but made too many mistakes. He didn't follow the rules for an Evil Overlord, and thus was defeated. In the book he was definatly more powerful and intimidating since it was up to our imaginations to picture him and his power, but in the movies he seemed to just be the leader of a haphazard gang.

He definitely seemed more powerful and intimidating in the book, in the movies they make him look so different too. His eyes are "grey" in the movie when they should be "red". Why the heck did they change his eye color?

It stinks that they changed his eye color but you got to give them some slack. How many people do you know has red eyes.

I think Voldemort like most people start out as regular people. Voldemort turned into a monster because of his circumstances. He was left at the orphanage and no one came to claim him, not one person. Later he found out he did have living relatives, who did'nt bother to come for him and a father who hated his mother and disown him.
We hear and read about men, women and children who turn into monsters because they were not given the love they need or they did'nt have the family they wanted and needed to be a part of. As Hagrid said: Family is important, family makes a different.
I feel if Voldemort had been picked up from the orphanage by his father or his grandparent and raised with love, he would never have become Voldemort. The wizard world would not have been torn a part.

Okay, I love Ralph Fines, but in GOF when he's like prancing around the graveyard, a little light-footed, trying to make a 14-year old fight him, it was kind of lame and not scary. I think that scene could have been done better.

When you're a bad a** like ol' Volde you can prance all you want to. Or customize kittens on your credit card.
