So does anyone else end up with plot twists even THEY didn't expect?

Who else knows pointless trivia about their characters? (For two of my characters, I even have most of their genotype.)

And who's got stuff from characters that even they didn't know until they typed it? *looks at my Aaron*

Does anyone else have any stubborn characters?

(Please don't bite me...)

*starts to bite, then thinks better of it* Since you asked nicely.

>.<

Actually, one of my characters up and decided that she was going to have an older brother, no arguing allowed.

And she and another character decided to fall in love, completely changing the plot of my story.

That's about the only thing they've done.

A heroine, A deity
On Heroin, or vanity

My story went crazy with mutiny.

My villain came out of the closet about three chapters into my novel. So that mixed things up a bit. My hero was this valiant, stereotypically amazing and cool guy but into the third part he became a real perverted jerk that everyone hated. Two of my supporting characters developed a crush on each other and then nearly had their romantic subplots take over the story. My heroine became suicidal. And my drunkard became a nun about halfway through planning...

I know so much pointless gems about a lot of my story. I can't remember many of them, sadly. I have them written somewhere. A few of them involve my villain: his middle name, his favorite designer, his favorite flavor of tea, etc.

And my oddest plot twists happen while I'm thinking in the shower or listening to music. "What I've done" by Linkin Park is going to murder my story before I manage to get it out of my head.

To jack their personality
Beyond normal humanity.

Yes...well my Aaron has been the most recent culprit. Suffice it to say, his parents have apparently been busy.

Still, they're not as bad as D's.

I don't think watching exclusively Arthur and South Park before writing something is a good idea.
