I had a pretty strange experience with hackers, within the first hour I joined, I got a hacker posting a message like that. I hope they rot in hell.

Which reminds me, I've got some news about hackers and scammers to give you all from another guild I am in. ` L u n e Someone wanted me to make a thread about this so I thought I warn a few users. Nothing to serious, however just a heads up.
I suppose lately Scammers have thought another clever way to use their phishing sites and now they're targeting exchangers. They make a thread and post a fake 'deal' (thats too good to be true) and by the time you post your offer the Scammer replies " sorry I already put the item into the market place, heres the link" and the phishing Link is something like this:
ex (hover over the link); omg cheap 03 item for sale in market place!
Also the scammer created a thread selling a really cheap OMG Hat.
The link leads to a fake Market Place where theres a enter your password field. Remember, always check the URL before entering your passwords.
After the user sends in the password and clicks "submit" change your password and clear your data immediately! The user was smart enough to do this quick enough, to which the Scammer replied;
User:Good one mister
Hax: thanks. Did you enter 9788goVx77?
User: Not my pass :3
Hax: Then who's pass is it?
(That was the original pass until the user changed it x_x)
tl;dr: Be careful what you click and where you enter your password! xD That is all <3 Take care and good luck! (this will be added sometime in my journal once I get the chance)

Here's another one to watch out for: Markyeo I know the newer one. (I'm not sure if it's really newer..) They say "I have started a charity blah blah blah" then they make the first post look like charity and when people post then they change the first post into "hey I forgot to reserve post, my new thread is here: www.gaiaonline.com/forums/charity&quests/biggest-ever-charity!!!" I'm not sure if forums link go like this though sweatdrop And the other day, one idiot scammer posted the same thread, but in first post he said he forgot to reserve posts and there were no posts in the thread rofl So make sure if you're ever going to click a link, to hover over it and check the pathway at the bottom left of your internet browser.
