Weitieo
A world with only 70 square miles of land and over 90,000,000 Gallons of fresh water. There is no inhabitants of any other than fish creatures. And no one can talk to them other than themselves, and intelligent creatures with computerized translators. There are a few research facilities, large ones, at the bottom of the Fresh-Water Ocean, called Olem. There exists over 100 million types of fish and other reptilian sea serpents in the vast depths of Olem.
Intelligent Fish:
Heirez: A race of peaceful fish that are also the most common in the depths of Olem. They live in huge colonies all over, and are noted for always having red spots with white outlines. The rest of their bodies are various colors, usually depending on family. The spot patterns are like finger-prints to these creatures, every single one of them are different shapes, sizes, and arrangements. Their main skills are the power of ESP among themselves. Only people with a special device implanted on their head, along with the born power of ESP can communicate with them. They are always noted to be friendly for the most part, but there are always bad days and unfriendly minorities among them. Their sizes are the widest range of any other fish, ranging from the size of a large Gold fish at birth, then growing to the size of a large shark or a small whale. They are able to defend themselves with telekinesis, and maneuvering capabilities.
Klep: Among the poisonous, fanged fish. Are the size of large mouth basses, and have a circle-shaped mouth full of long, 2 inch to half inch teeth. Are noted to have mostly green scales and very small gills. They are known to be hostile, and can be communicated with through special translators, but are not usually known to be sociable among other species. They prefer the darker coves and holes at the bottom of the Olem as homes.
Illius: A Mermaid-like creature that is almost all fish, other than their faces and some features on their arms and webbed fingers. The only fish creature in the Olem to possess an opposable thumb. They are known to have very strong warriors that can make spears and defend their under-water homes and large colonies. Are not often sociable with outsiders, especially humans, but can sometimes go to them for help, and create small alliances.
Barbarous Fish:
Oakem: Among the largest, and the deadliest fish of the Olem. Are known for their immense fighting ability against any other race in the Olem, but are constantly drawn away from the underwater bases at the bottom of Weitieo with Electric Pulse mechanisms. Are known by their burgundy, large scales and big lips. They come big and round most of the time, if they are healthy. Unhealthy ones are usually blackened scales and skinnier in form.
Red Shar’ams: Are long in the nose, tipped with a solid bone that can pierce through very strong shells of clams or turtles. Are extremely fast and usually the target of sniper rifles in order to stop them, but it would take a very skilled marksman to either spear them or shoot them, because of their slender form and excellent acceleration.
Zombies:
For some reason, in the depths of the ocean, the water is becoming polluted with a black foamy substance that constantly rises. Anyone who comes in contact with it are transformed into horrible, undead creatures. Many fish have been seen missing eyes, or entire parts of their body but still move, and attack for no cause or reason, no matter what the species. And when they bite, you are infected. However, humanoid species of mammals do not pass along the virus.
Hydrolth: Drowned corpse wrapped in seaweed, with blue-tinted skin and sharpened teeth and claws. Are able to attack and defend using the seaweeds around them. Usually known to strangle their victims. They cannot swim without the aid of Nnemgaphs. They don’t need to breathe under water and they can walk across the bottom of the Olem just fine.
Drowned: Among the more common of zombies on the surface of the ocean, and growing more numerous every day due to the high volume of undead fish.
Saw-men: Humanoid zombies that decayed over time but then came into a stronger version of the infection. This version grows the teeth out very sharp that gives it its name. They are known to be much stronger than the other forms of zombies, and are also one of the more dangerous. These are the only zombies that are hostile to all other forms, undead or alive.
Humanoid Research Facilities:
Marcus 88: The human research facility from Uram, a nearby planet. Marcus 88 has the capability of inner-planetary travel but it is far too expensive in fuel and mechanics for that to be its main function. It has over 2,000 associates and administrators keeping it running on the inside, as well as around 200 scientists studying the wild-life.
Olibaff 3884999PRF: Abandoned, and the whereabouts of the crew are unknown. However, upon inspection of the facility, it is obvious that very few, if any of them are still alive.
The Luminati: A research facility full of multiple forms of beings, all with different understandings and educations in the aquatic biology field. It is one of the last standing research facilities in the West seas of the Olem, but many of them are convinced that they are living on borrowed time, and they have received many defensive weapons in order to ensure their safety. But many are still skeptical of their chances.
