I thought it might be cool for all the bunny lovers to post stories about their bunnies. Mine goes like this. My brother and Mom were walking back from our local food store and see a bunny on a field in the nearby park along with two girls. My Mom asks it's their's and they say no. Which is a BIG problem. We have Bears, Racoons, Kyotes and other meat eating animals that come out at night. Bunnies aren't natural at that park. So they catch it and put it in a envirementaly cloth bag. So we put up signs, take it to the vet and nothing. So we kept it. She's doing quite fine. What's your bunny story?

Oh yeah losing your bunny is scary. Mine's gone through Skunk holes and self dug holes. One hole was under a plant.

okay bunny stories. I can do this. My mother and I were at a lake beside our house. We went there for a little walk and I took my bunny Lucy. I decided to take off the leash while we were sitting in front of the lake. Well, my bunny felt the leash come off so she started hopping really fast toward the lake. I run down that hill to catch up. Next, I heard a splash. Turns out she jumped in the water by accident (the dirt by the water is ultra slippery). We had to go back home and give my sopping wet bunny a bath. The End. But my bunny's died a few months ago. =[

Back when I only had two bunnies I was outside feeding them. Well I was playing with them...in their cage. They had a rather big cage and the 'door' was on the top rather then in front like most hutches. So I opened the top and climbed in the cage and sat with Thumper and Cocoa while they sniffed me and ran around their cage.
Well it started getting dark out so I decided to go back inside. I go to the front of the cage push up on the door and try to climb out. I was probably 7 or 8 at the time and this cage is a lot easier to get into rather then out of. My legs were to short to reach the ground while I was holding the top of the cage.
Long story short, I had to wait until someone realized that I was in their so they could come and save me. sweatdrop

I have another story:
This was also when I didn't have a lot of bunnies.
My French Lop Chauncy was my rabbitries 'mascot' I guess you could say and everybody loved him, even the dog.
We had a rough collie named Laddie, and Chauncy and Laddie would run around in the grass together. It was so adorable. Laddie wouldn't harm Chauncy at all, and Chauncy would always come back. We could even go inside and leave him running around outside for a while. (However, we didn't do that often for the chance of hawk or a bald eagle swooping in on him).
Yes, it was quite cute.

My californian, luster, has always had a real attitude problem but of course we all loved her anyway.
one day i was outside and she was hopping around our picknick table, and she would hop REALLY fast around the table and then run and nibble my book, so i would tug her tail a little bit and say "Luster! stop!" and she would put her ears back and glare, well about the third time that happened she ran right over to my cell phone and just pee'd all over it.
