Um, I tried donating some, but I don't know if it worked. I'm supposed to "trade" with Deer-Screw Love, right? I'm new to Gaia so I'm kinda stupid about stuff sweatdrop How do I know the gold had actually reached you and not lost somewhere out there? xd

Actually, you can just donate to the guild from the homepage. (There's a pink box at the bottom, where you put in the amount of gold you wish to donate and your password.)
But, those funds only go toward buying subforums, so if we are to hold contests in the future, you'd have to donate to the mule, so we can give gold prizes to the winners.
(Contests, at this point, are a really slim chance. We don't have enough "regulars" to make it fun.)
However, if you don't have a trading pass, trading to Deer-Screw Love or dontaing directly to the guild won't work. You'll have to get one from the Marketplace for 500 gold.
Hope that helped. (In the meantime, I'll go log into the mule and see if you've traded anything. I don't go on it much, so.... sweatdrop )

Yep, I know contests are still a long time coming, but I'd rather start donating for that early on 3nodding
I've bought the trading pass and traded with Deer-Screw Love, and there was a trade under the "Trade waiting on other people" column. I just checked and it had moved to the "Trade waiting on you" column. Am I supposed to click it and then click the "accept trade" button? Sorry for being such an idiot. sweatdrop

I really don't know. Gaia had changed the trading system about 2 years back and I still don't understand how to use it. It was a lot easier to use back in '04.

I clicked the "accept trade" and now it's done! Apparently, after I initiate a trade and you accepted that trade, I still have to finalize it. Why do we have to go back and forth like that anyway? But whatever. Now I'm gonna wait for my gold to reach a thousand or two again before donating more. biggrin

I guess it's just a back-and-forth process like that to ensure the gold or items gets to the other person. If I remember correctly, it used to be direct.
But, I don't really worry about that sort of thing anymore. I only really go on gaia to talk to my friends and whore my guilds. (Namely this one. XD)
