In Twilight, Bella was wondering if it was possible for her and Edward to get married. Edward said it was probably impossible. Now, in Eclipse, Edward insists them running off Vegas to get married. Isn't that just weird?

Does he flat out say that marriage is impossible? I don't remember.
Even if he did, you have to think of Edward's perspective. In Twilight, Edward was planning to be with Bella through her human life. There was no intention of changing her, thus, from that perspective it was be mostly impossible. Seeing as Edward intends on changing her now, they'll be more "equal" (for lack of better word) and thus marriage does not create so much of an issue.

i don't really think really weird for them to get married, cus i mean they love each other and afterwards he's gonna turn her into a vampire so they'll be the same, and he didn't think it would be possible for them to get married because she would be in danger but if she's a vampire she won't be in danger

hmmm... ya it is a little strange maybe he wants to keep her somehow... maybe as a price that he won that she loves him but... reading the chapter of midnight sun (edwards side of twilight) that is out... i believe that there is soo much more than a testosterone filled bet... maybe he has become the depended one...

Isn't that just weird? no b/c ive waited so long for this, so they better get married in the next book, or there are going to be some problems!

Edward was very conscientious when he was first getting to know her because he loved her as is. He wasn't to fond with testing his thirst by being around her, but through the series we see that Edward gains control of his instincts and is able to replenish his thirst. I also find it funny how Edward didn't want any sexual relaions with Bella in the begining but then he was all "Right here, right now" in the meadow. lol. Quite a sense of humor, don't you think? *~*~*~*~*~*~*
