I figured I should post something...if I'm going to be in this guild.
I Want to Be an Angel
I want to be an angel so I can paint the sky. I wish to see God’s canvas and ask if I can try.
I want to be an angel to dip my wings in paint and face the clear blue sky, the blue that I could taint.
I want to stain my feathers with brilliant sunset hues and coat my fingers in darkness and mix the nighttime blues.
I want to do it every night, just dip my wings and go. I want to see the houses lit by my canvas’s glow.
And in the morning with the sun I can try that too. I want to see the sunrise, and see it next to you.
So you can see the work I’ve done standing high atop the hill. You can see your angel and your angel’s will.
I want to be an angel but I don’t want to die. I can see God’s canvas and the angel who paints the sky.

That's a make me go "Awwww..." poems. That's a very unique poem Gaki....it's well formed, and planned out I think.
10/10 to you!

There's a history to this one...and it's so simple it makes you wanna cry. I was sitting in my room at my desk. My desk is by the window at such an angle so that at certain times of the year (ie summer) I can watch the sun set. Sunsets here are the shiznit.
And so I...wrote. Of course it did take a bit of thinking and planning but it was still a spur of the moment sort of thing. Every time I look at it I have to laugh...'cause I can rhyme. ^^ After I made this one I found it hard to write a poem that didn't rhyme.

You're right...very simple, but it's the simple things that inspire most. That's right! All these people keep looking for inspiration when it's right there in front of them! Heck, I'm in the midst of writing a horror story about a SHED for Heaven's sake! A SHED, of ALL THINGS!!! And it all came out of my wonderful childhood experiences. ^^ If you want horror, look to your childhood. Even the most innocent of things can be twisted and evil.

Lol! So true. I'm still afraid of trucks that are red. Blue trucks are good, black is ok, green is okay, but red....I'm terrified of red trucks.
And a shed...really now?
And horror is always excelent! ^^

My dad once bought a purple fridge at a garage sale and asked a friend to borrow his red truck. So I'm like 6 years old and my brother is 8. We go to our dads friends place and turns out the truck is ancient as heck, and run down. The doors didn't lock, and it didn't have seatbelts. I was the unlucky one who had to sit by the door, so when my dad pulled onto the highway to pick the truck up, I went rolling out the door onto the busy highway, and to this day, I do not like red trucks....no way.

Holy s**t. Wow. I wouldn't like trucks in general, but I suppose if you're six there's that association.
