The release is tentatively set for September 1 2008. Stephenie Meyer finished the first draft just before Christmas.
And Robert Pattison (who played Cedric Diggory in the HP Movies) has been cast as Edward in the Twilight Movie.

But that is so far away! gonk
I can't believe the series is going to be over - I hope she changes her mind and makes it a thousand books long. I don't think the story would ever get old.
