Sadly not all of us can afford the greatest of meals, and loose out on tasty meals. This recipe will not be as good as the real thing, but is much cheaper on a small budget!

Get a bag of regular maruchan ramen noodles.

bring them to a boil

discard the flavoring

drain noodles completely and add Ragu sauce to pan

add can of diced chicken

stir and serve.

This is a nice and easy recipe. I might try it wink
could i add a type of inexpensive cheese to it to make it creamy? sweatdrop

It sounds good, but whole boxes of regular pasta are less expensive than ramen in most grocery stores I've been to, and an average jar of ragu is more expensive, and less sizable than sauce made from cheap cream and parmesan, though the diced chicken is more dollar-friendly.

I agree that sometimes Ragu costs more than a pint of cream or half-and-half.
Here's a pretty cheap cream sauce that I absolutely love. Most kitchens have these items on hand anyway so that cuts the cost down even more! A word to the wise though...this is definitely NOT low fat.

Alfredo Cream Sauce:
6 T. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 t. pepper
1 C. half-and-half
1 C. Parmesan cheese

Melt butter on medium heat. Once melted add garlic and pepper. Saute for 2 minutes, make sure you don't burn it. Add half-and-half, bring to a slow boil. Once you see bubbles, add cheese in batches, stirring constantly. If you don't work in small batches and keep stirring the cheese just ends up as a glob on the bottom of your saucepan. Salt as needed (taste before you add).
