Well. I really want to get a tattoo when I'm older, and I found some inspiration. I was thinking of getting a tatt of the Greek Orthodox image of Jesus on my wrist. Not a big one, but a little one. :3

something like that.
Is it okay to do that? I mean...well. D: I don't know how to explain it.
But..erm. x.x; what do you think?

I think tatoos are perfectly fine, as long as you're absolutely sure that you can live with it for another 70-some years. Also, consider that in 60 years, your skin will begin to sag. Will it look utterly repulsive then? Something I heard once is that you should keep a picture of that tatoo somewhere where you see it several times every day. A mirror, your wallet, etc. Keep it there for at least a year. If you're sick of it by then, you shouldn't get it as a tatoo. The Bible says somewhere not to "mark yourself in mourning for the dead", but that usually has nothing to do with tatoos. I'm not going to try and stop you, anyway, because that would make me a hypocrit. I want a tatoo like the one on Taylor Swift's foot, except on my hip. And I plan to get it done as soon as I'm allowed. <3

If you do that, then you'll never see it. :/ But Jesus will play pek-a-boo every time you wear a low-backed top. eek

Tattoo's are perfectly fine. My parents have them as do my sisters. And my parents tattoos all represent God and family. But ya, make sure you can live with the same picture on your body for decades to come. and also remember the skin sagging part, and make sure you go somewhere legitimate. I know there are some places out there that are cheap. Just be careful and wise in your decision.

I can only begin to imagine the "illigitimate" spots on your body. . . gonk
Anyway, I think tattoos are fine. Don't do anything Satanic, and think about it for a good while to make sure you want it. Once you get it, it's there forever, unless you burn it off. burning_eyes
