After his encounter with Nat Pyrrhus had decided to go back up the mountain, a silent sobreity in his step. As the sun began to set his flames calmed to bright embers, becoming a glowing orange by the time he reached the mountain caves. In the distance he could see the home of most other mountain nikku, and in the back of his mind he wished he was able to join them.

Paige had explored these mountains many times befor, and had seen many nikkus along the way. But never had she seen one like this. It seemed to be covered in lava. But how could a nikku do that? She thought. She hid behind a rock trying to get a closer look without the nikku seeing her.

Oblivious to the fact that he was being watched the elemental kicked a pile of stick together, arranging them in a little pyramid before he moved to lay beside them. With a gasp he took in a large breath, then blew a jet of flame at the pile, watching as the branches crackled and caught, expanding into a comforting blaze.

How did he do that? Paige said to herself. She quickly tried to run to the next rock but halfway there she tripped. Ow. Said PAige quietly.

Pyrrhus glanced up quickly, stifiling the fire out as the flame around his eyes sparked up. "Who goes there?" he asked boomingly, lighting himself up to get a better look. His eyes fell upon a female mountain nikku, roughly half his size, and he offered a curious glance, "Why have you come here? Have I not warmed the ground beneath the caves?"

I was curious to what you were. Said Paige slowly geting up. Paige looked at the creature it was twice her size.

"My name is Pyrrhus, guardian of the flame. Surely you must have some reason for being so far away from the herds," he suggested, watching her curiously, "Or have they strayed this close to my territory?" The prospect of a nearby herd was both frightening and comforting, as he wondered whether the company would be accepted.

No its just me. I dont have a herd i just travel the mountains alone. Said Paige. She stared down at the ground shyly.
