Yes, this is long. You should read it anyways. So I've been going to Rocky for a little over a year now, almost the whole time the cast here has been around. I love my cast and I would be devastated if anything were to happen to them. So for the past two weeks they've been spreading the word that this weekend (the 29th) is going to be the most important night in the history of Come As You Are (name of out cast). So I, being the hardcore Rocky fan I am, make sure I am there. So Matt (the director and producer of Come As You Are) finally decides to stop with the suspense and tell us what the ******** is so important. So he starts by telling us how Rocky has always been apart of his life, ever since he was five and his sister was part of Rocky. He told us about how he has been working on Rocky for years, and how hard he has worked to keep Rocky here in Arizona. It's been hard, and there have been several different casts and about seven different theatres over the years. So then he told us that he had lunch with the owner of Grand Cinemas, the theatre that so graciously let us do our show. And the owner told him that they probably wouldn't be the owners of Grand Cinemas through 2008 - meaning no Rocky. The crowd (300 people! Biggest audience we've ever had!) was already silent, which is amazing for Rocky, went even more silent. It's like 'oh s**t. No more Rocky?' So then Matt tells us that he - is now the owner of Grand Cinemas. The entire audience stands up and screams and cheers. The cast all run over and Matt is buried in the hugs of all of them. Rocky - Come As You Are- now has a permanent home. No more stretches of time without Rocky, no more trying to find a theatre. We now have a home, and we're gonna take over the world. And then everybody in the theatre sang 'We Are The Champions' and then we all screamed at the sheer awesomeness of this.
