I'm an American teenager, so most times I even mention the word "mod," I get inundated with quizical looks and people asking me, "What's that?" So, I thought I'd come here. Who better to talk about being mod than Who fans?

Does anybody know some good places to get vintage, mod outfits? And (I know this sounds odd) does anybody have any tips not only choosing a good scooter, but also for driving one in a heavily trafficked area without getting run over? Where I live is filled with soccer moms that barely know how to drive, yet they are maneuvering hulkish SUVS around whilst doing their makeup and calming a screaming three-year-old... sweatdrop
