Okay. I wanted everyone's opinions on your perspective on the Paranormal. Just right now, I am seeing a black mass go across the room, I am hearing something breathing, seeing a shadow across the wall, and getting cold drafts in the room.Now enough about that. I want to hear your perspective on demons, spirits, ghosts, and anything else you can describe to me.

Depends on what kind of Satanist you describe yourself as. While the theistic stance on this is as varied as crayons in a 64-Crayon Crayola box, LaVeyan Satanism does have a mildly vague stance.
As far as ethereal beings like ghosts, demons, and monstery-type things are concerned, you would be laughed at for such a statement. You need to remember that the mind is a powerful tool and often times we can trick ourselves--our sight, our vision, etc. As there is no Heaven nor Hell, nor alternative realm for demons or some such thing, there is no belief in these creatures.
My personal opinion is that you may have invested far too much faith in what the media illustrates demons and ghosts as. I used to believe in ghosts, but I later came to recognize the coincidence in that I was either depressed, paranoid, or thinking about ghosts the very moment before I actually saw one. Your imagination isn't something you always have a complete reign on.

I personally do believe in them, unless somehow I've magickally become telepathic and can project images while moving s**t on my own. If so, go me. Other then that, I believe in Shades and Legions, and what - not. -Shrugs,- it has always interested me, and this is what I believe.

I don't BELIEVE in any of that stuff, but I still like to watch ghost hunters and what not. I think it is pretty funny and pretty cool what people can think up.

I believe PirateEire's post has properly projected my own personal view on the matter. It is nonsensical to have an atheistic outlook, while still believing in the indefinite existence of supernatural beings. You might as well accept the very argumentative issue on whether God exists or not, and get over it. It is, however, a very curious matter that is quite fun to look in to. But, that is where I draw the line. Agreeing with what Pirate said - the mind is one's own personal trickster. It can fabricate fearsome illusions when one is under severe stress, anxiety, or any state of panic of a sort. It's all quite fundamental. But, I guess, to each his own.

I voted for "Yes", but I'm not that sure. I believe that spirits can enter our dreams and that there's a soul. Usually it's hard for me to believe in something which I haven't personally experienced.
I'm not sure about ghosts or demons, I kind of believe in them, but at the same time their existance seems impossible.
With the ghosts and demons I have very little of proof, only just "Was it for real" moments, I guess. biggrin
Like this little girls voice who keeps calling my name, or sometimes it's a man with a very deep voice. That might be just my imagination.
Or all those shady characters runnning and disappear, that's probably just something eye does...
