Hey,i have realise this when i read another forum about this topic.When i read all tha comments,it make me realise that shinichi is selfish and not think about Ran feeling waiting for him to back.And one more,he keep lying to Ran about his shrunken.When Eisuke tell his feeling about Ran to Shinichi,Conan tell him that he is Shinichi.I think maybe he should just let Ran go with Eisuke to America.So what did you think?

Also realise that there's a reason for that , if the people that made him shrink find him. Ran will die if she knows Conan is Kudo. It's also very hard for him not to tell, cause he almost does in the first episode. Kudo loves Ran and proven it, if you pay attention enough you''d notice Ran doesn't get hurt really bad unlike kudo himself. He may have a big ego but it doesn't mean he's selfish.

Yes.I agreed about that.But i hate a hypocrite man.Thats why i think Shinichi like that. (sorry for my bad english sad )

Nah, Shinichi isn't selfish but he is just suppose to follow advise from Professor Agasa...if he tell his identity....Ran's life is in danger...

shinichi may be selfish, but it's not like he gains any profit with that. it's true that he sometimes hurts ran's feeling. but for me, he hurts himself even more. just imagine being so near with your love but not able to tell her that you are just an inch away from her. crying

If you think about it, he really just cares for Ran. Ran wouldn't die unless she continues to tell others. But to hide the truth is just selfish... He doesn't know what Ran will go through if he died while she was waiting for him. I say it'd be better for both him and the series if she knew.

.. i think that shinichi is not selfish because he is only lying for ran's safety. it isn't also true that he never cares for ran's feelings about her waiting for him .. because he notices it and finally i don't agree with ran and eisuke as a pair up

I would never accept Ran and Eisuke as a pair up! I seriously would turn crazy and never watch Detective Conan when they're together, and lie to myself about what happened!
