Hello everyone! I was just wondering which Pride and Prejudice you all enjoy. I love both of them, and I must say I like Elizabeth better from the BBC version. Both Mr. Darcys are awesome, but I can't decide which one I like more... Thoughts/opinions about either or both???

I'm like you, I like them both very much, but I can't say which one I like more. At the moment, it's probably the BBC miniseries, because I got that for Christmas! It's liable that my opinion shall change in a day or two!

BBC miniseries all the way!
I mean a few things are done better in the newer version, but overall BBC is SO much better.
Though I agree both Mr Darcy's are very hot!

2005 movie version! I really like the music they did for it, and It took me a long time to sit through the BBC version! I do like them both a great deal, but I prefer the 2005 version.

I've only seen the 2005 movie version, So of course I'm going to say that one. I just felt the whole movie was perfect with the setting, actors, and the mood having the perfect blend of romance, angst and drama smile

No one liked the 1940 movie with Laurence Olivier and Greer Garson as Darcy and Elizabeth?
All right, strict adherence to the book definitely shakey...lots of things left out, and Lady Catherine was changed a bit too much for my tastes at the very end, but overall I still found that one the most enjoyable one I've seen. The actors in it just were the characters for me, and the whole spirit of the movie was very sweet and funny and pretty much perfect with my vision of the book.

BBC version. I couldn't bear to watch the movie version, Mr. Darcy was not nearly attractive enough and Elizabeth was far too 'pretty'. And I've heard that it was all very cliched (kissing in the pouring rain, apparently? Oh please!)
I adore the BBC version =D.

They don't kiss in the rain, but Darcy looks like he would love to. And, I found that Darcy attractive! Why do so few people think that? He doesn't have the same style as Colin Firth, but he has a gorgeous voice and beautiful eyes - and he gets the shy bit down well! But yes; the BBC version is beauteous!
I need to see the Greer Garson one!! Sounds like fun.

Everyone needs to see Greer Garson one. It's great fun.
I've seen the BBC version, but I'll admit that I sort of cringed at the latest movie and didn't go to see it. I think it was the wardrobing, but I can't say for sure what turned me off of it just from the previews.

Apparently the wardrobe and houses were more acurate to the time frame then most of the Austen films. And I heard this from a reliable source.
