In a Power Ranger's convention, the actor for the original Black Ranger reveals that now that power Rangers is over, he's gotten into new roles, one such is the voice of none other than, Nero!

I didn't know dante and vergil's voice actors were tied to the power rangers, how so?

Well the thing is that the voice actors are a little more than just voice actors. Motion capture videos for Devil May Cry 3, which can be easily seen on youtube, show the actors of Lady, Dante, Vergil, and Joker all doing their lines while doing the motions. This means that they can't have just any average voice actor. They need voice actors that can pull off the amazing stunts we see in the games, and that means they need people who are physically fit for characters like Dante and Vergil.

You could always get a top notch voice actor like Phil Lamarr(Hermes Conrad of Futurama and Samurai Jack) or Mark Hamill(Luke Skywalker from the star wars movies, and the joker from the Batman animated series) but I can't say you'd get the result considering what they require for the cutscenes. The actors both voice act, physically act, and do very athletic stunts all the same time. It's a lot to ask for from an actor. A martial artist is a good place to start, and one that's already done acting is even better. If you want to do it cheap, go to one that hasn't done a lot of work in the past few years. BINGO, Power rangers! Lucky for Capcom they chose the few power rangers that can actually act(well, act better than most other Video game Voice actors and child action TV show actors).

Pandora's Box maybe?

Having checked the game's site; Apparently it's now just refered to as Pandora, but elsewhere it's always been refered to as Pandora's Box. It's a morphic briefcase that becomes a wide variety of ever more impressive weapons, the ultimate being a floating missle battery. One could assume that outside of mechanics, and the game itself, it could become even more impressive than that, if only for the amusing images of Dante & co. being Power Rangers. razz





There is another image of Pandora in the System part of the site, though I can't get the link for it, showing it to be capable of becoming a giant laser cannon as well. That one is probably the second best form given that the gauge shown for it is just short of being full.

I would think that's more something Viewtiful Joe would do rather than Dante there.
