Sweet!!! Anyone here in marching band for their school? I am, well, I'm forced to. Manditory for all band members, but it's fun. What about other people? What's your opinion on marching band?

I don't go into marching band until next year. I am in the 7/8 grade band. We do play at the 8th grade football games. and we do concerts. and contests. all of that.

I am in 8th grade too, but they let me play with the high school marching band this year. My school doesn't have a middle school marching program.

I've never heard of a middle school marching band, or middle schoolers playing with the high school. I'm a sophmore, so I started last year, but that's great that you guys get out there before high school. What did you guys think about marching or playing in the stands?

It was awesome until it got really cold. we didn't just sit in the benches. We played at half time also.

Yeah the weather can make marching really annoying. This year the football team made states, so we had to play until the third week of December. December!! It was fun because we got to go to Hershey Stadium at Hershey Park, but there was snow on the ground once.

They can't keep in tempo... but it's really cool that you start in middle school!!! are drumline rocks where we live we won the percussion award almost every time

Woot Woot!!! Band concert was Wednsday!!! We were awesome, I must say. Especially Russian Christmas Music (12 mins long eek ) and Lord of the Rings was amazing!!! Yeah, hehe... sweatdrop maybe I shouldn't show this much enthusiasm for band, but we're all friends here!!! Band geeks forever!!!
