Q&A

Q-Should you make a new post for each hybrid when rping?
A--No, please avoid doing this. Other people could post inbetween the replies which would break it up and may make it hard to understand if your hybrids are having a conversation. It would also string things out a lot more then they need to be. Just group all your hybrids that you are Roleplaying with in the same thread (unless you are rping on different forums or something of course)
Q-How is DWP counted?Does it only apply to pets that you post in the forms with? (in other words, will a reply you make on a thread only count towards the hybrid you used DWP?)
A--DWP and EP are pretty complicated subjects, but here is it in very simplified terms: If you are not a House leader, you really dont need to worry about how DWP is counted, but if you are just curious then keep reading. DWP is applied to all pets that are NOT Retired at the time those points are added to your hybrids. So you dont need to worry about how many posts you made with each pet because as long as it is active, it will get points.
Q-Will I be banned from the guild if I dissapear for too long?
A--No, you will not. I hope you would never disappear forever, but as long as you own your hybrids you are welcome here.
Q-For a houseless hybrid starting off in the specific location (ticorn in earth house, etc) who wants to join another house, where do they go?
A--I would recomend starting out in a "house territory" or an area around the house. For example: the earth house thread only covers a small area (the area most commonly occupied by the house and Protected territory for the house, you cannot wander here unless you have business or the house may attack you) but hybrids in the house often dont stay in that area for one reason or another. Try to talk to them as they pass through, make friends in the house, that would give you the best chance of acctually being accepted once you got enough expirence.
Q-I noticed subthreads are labelled as house territory. Is everyone allowed in the subthreads?
A--Subthreads of houses are just territory the house most commonly wanders too--a part of the house without officially being part of the hous. Any hybrid can come and go here as you please, but if your hybrid is a member of the dark house (for example) and wanders into territory commonly occupied by light house members, there may be a problem.
Q-I understand some of the places are very far apart from one another. If you're traveling to a far off place (or even nearby) can you just post there or do you have to travel the sub-threads?
A--This requires a bit of your own judgement. If your hybrid is traveling to a town very close by (something they could realistically reach in a few hours or so) then you can just jump from one thread to another if it is applicable. If you want to add a bit more story to your journey (no matter how long or short it is) spend time on each thread that corrisponds to the area you are moving through. If you are on a journey that you could realistically not make in a day, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE break it up a bit. There is a time element within these rps and if you are skipping around alot in time, it may create some conflicts. If you are on a journey from coast to coast (for example) and have a winged hybrid, it would probably take about 2-3 days or more (depending on where you are going, how much you stop, ect) at the very least, stop at different threads to "rest for the night". dont do giant leaps from one coast to another, its not very realistic and kind of interfears with the time element.
The thread is set up like a map and broken down into regions to make it easier. this is why it is imporant to familiarize yourself with the map. There are maps on all main threads, but I recomend printing one off for quick desktop reference.
