While having followed his nose to a part of the pride lands that he wasn't familiar with, the golden coloured lion stops. Takes a few drawn breaths in the air and blinks. "This is not where I should be." Draco thinks to himself as he pulls his robes around him a bit tighter. "Now where is that snitch..." he continues to think while he searches a bit more. Knowing his luck one of those annoying red-headed snwivlies took his precious toy, if that was true, he'd hurt them greatly.

Sitirika jerked awake at the sound of the rust
ling close behind her. Small busom rising and falling in quick succsession, she rose shakily to her paws. What was that noise? Who could be making it? 'Rika's small form began to quiver with terror. Could it be one of the people looking to kill her? She hoped not. Please, God, don't let it be one of Them, her young mind screamed, anything, anyone but them!
Backing up slowly, she felt what could only be tears begin to triccle down her face. She felt a slight bump against her hind leg. Looking up, she saw an amazing sight. A golden lion in what appeared to be - clothes? She didn't know that there were actually lions who dressed like humans! "H-Hello?" she muttered, vision slightly blurred.

Draco paused with a start having heard the small cub's voice. 'What in the name of all things.....' he thought to himself as he took a bit of a step forward away from the cub in shock. Certainly the smell he had caught was this individual whom looked like nothing he had ever seen before, especially bumping into him in such a manner. "My my my What a little cub you are." he stated with a sly grin. "And what brings such a small cub out away from the watchful eye of their parents on such a gloomy day?" he asked while turning around, straightening out his scarf and then sitting to look down at the small cub.

'Rika felt her heart pick up a bit. She now knew what had caused the noise, but she had yet to understand why this individual was talking to her. She was naturally weary of adults, they were the ones that did the banishment. But still, she decided to be nice. Ignoring the first remark about her size, she said, "I have no parents." She stated in a monotonous voice. It was true, she didn't. She hadn't had someone in a very long time..

"I smell fear off of you cub..." Draco commented coily as he continued to watch the lioness nearly quiver. Seemingly in some twisted sense, Draco was completely enjoying watching the young lion twist and twitch with nervousness.

Sitirika knew when danger was about and she felt it's presence in the very marrow of her bones. "Whatever your intention is on tormenting me, know that I can fend for myself." She fairly growled at him. 'Rika knew how to defend herself, it'd been one of the first things she'd learned when she spent that first night alone out on the dusty yellow plains far from here. It made her remember that first fight she'd nearly died in. That hyena wouldn't leave her alone, so she'd had no other choice but to fight dirty, and she didn't mind it either. She knew that she'd always stand her ground against impossible odds.

Though Draco had tried to hold back a chuckle, a slight snicker escaped from the edges of his nose. This little lion thought he was going to attack her? She really had no reasons that he could think of to even fathom the possibility of attacking, she wasn't one of those read-headed disgraces to the magical world, nor was she holding onto his golden snitch, so him attacking her was quite low on the list of things to do.
"You think I'll attack you? pish...." he scoffed in his usual manner as he didn't allow himself to show forth the fact that he was even more intreagued by this lioness then any others. intreagued only because he wanted to learn more about her.... it wasn't common for parents to abandon their own, but seemingly this one had been, perhaps he could use that to his advantage was the thought on his mind.

"Always expect the unexpected. I never let my guard down." She huffed. He was insulting her! She felt like losing her temper, but knew it wasn't wise. She felt her blood rush though her veins and knew that she must stay on guard. She had to, for she knew the consequences of not watching herself or others. "What do you want of me? I can sense you're one of the scheming types and I'd rather you be more forthright. I'd listen to you if you quit scheming, but try to hide your meanings and I'll walk away from you now." she replied in her huffy voice.

"What do I want?" he asked in a snarky voice. "Honestly I want to find my Snitch, but instead i found you.." he added as his eyes narrow slightly to match this child's defiant tone. "Other then that, I want to try to figure you out..... if you truely must know."

"I'm sorry if I've caused you an inconvenience," she said snottily, "all I know is that you woke me up from my nap and then scarred me. Then you tried to manipulate me, so here we are. I might answer some of your questions, but just know I have the right to keep some information private about my life. Now, what is it you want to know?" Her deviance was high, and she didn't ever back down. She wanted to see what he would say, so she'd baited him a bit. It was so much fun...

'did she just state that i was manipulating her?' Draco asked himself then laughed his usual laugh. "Oh dear child, you have it all wrong... If I were so inclinded to manipulate you, you would never even realize it. I'd dose a bit of truth elixir into whatever you were drinking, how loose liped you would be if that were to occur." he grinned impishly and delightfully. After a few moments realizing that his more evil attendances were slipping out once again, Draco recollected himself and just sat there. "What Do I want to know... Nothing." he snapped and tried to act as if none of what happened earlier actually occurred.

"Hmm... I think you're either lying to me or to yourself. It's really quite, quite sad. Poor you... You're quite delusional aren't you? Do you often lie, or is it a recent development." She acted as if he hadn't just pushed her buttons and now acted to push his. She wondered what the outcome of this would be.

"Delusional -- no.... " Draco responded with a small smirk. "And what I was speaking of is things that you quite possibly would never understand because the things that I speak of are of a world that is not at all like the one you're use to... Its a ma...." he begins to state then stops as he realizes he was rambling. His eyes narrow briefly at the child then very snottily he asks "Are you a muggle?"

"No I'm not a muggle!" She said in a haugty tone of voice. How dare he say she was a muggle! "I know of things you don't as well!" She was silently cursing him out in her head.
